Waited a short while to be seated outside. Waitress prompt with menu and prompt to return for order. Sandwiches were freshly made with loads of smoked salmon for me and loads of bacon (blt) for hubby. Friendly staff and beautiful view of the cathedral whilst enjoying the food. Highly recommended
Lovely tea rooms just outside the cathedral grounds with great views of the cathedral itself.Busy, we had a short wait before claiming an outside table. There were seats available indoors too.Food was tasty and service friendly.

My daughter and I stopped by The Almonry for an early lunch after exploring the Cathedral. Lovely warm welcome and very friendly and personable staff throughout. We had the quiche of the day and the jacket potato with prawns; both were delicious, fresh, and very nicely presented. Excellent value for money in a very pretty setting. Highly recommended. It was too blustery to sit outside but the gardens and the view of the Cathedral would have been worth it!
