We spent a really pleasant hour over a beer and will certainly be going again. It's very dog friendly and a great supporter of the RBL.

The best pub in Ely by far. If you're looking for a real English pub with an authentic atmosphere, run by a proper landlord, this is the place for you. You won't find overpriced food and drink served by waistcoated youths here. What you will find is a welcoming, hard working staff and very good beer. Do not expect any food more substantial than a pickled egg. That's not what this pub is about. It is, more importantly, about remaining a much-loved local pub which is welcoming to all. Long may it remain one!

Popular and friendly local pub.\\nDoubt you'll find a better pint of Proper Job anywhere else; Lacons also kept well.
