We’ve dined at and ordered take aways from Zara for years! The food is delicious the staff incredibly welcoming and the restaurant is always clean and nicely decorated. Last night we plumped for a take away. I had my usual Lamb Dhansak - a medium hot dish with a slightly sweet & sour taste profile cooked with lentils. (Just in case you’re wondering - a totally different sweet & sour flavouring to Chinese food). It’s always delicious, but somehow the best got even better! The lentils were whole and al denté (if that phrase can apply to lentils) which added a lovely texture and taste to the dish. The sweet yet sour notes were balanced to perfection giving the sauce a refreshing yet rich flavour. My partner also commented that their Chicken Tikka Rogan Josh was exceptional!
