I’m writing this on behalf of my Mum who went to Mohak for coffee with a friend this morning. On chatting to the waitress Mum mentioned that it was her 89th birthday, as well as her friends birthday today. The waitress then brought them both complementary chocolate cake! What a wonderful, kind and generous thing to do. Thank you Mohak, you made my Mum’s birthday extra special.

Went for a Thali night with a group of 15, booked well in advance. Delicious authentic gujurati cuisine cooked with care, attention to detail, and served with love. Great choice of local craft beer and wine, and had a delicious mango lassi with our meal. The hosts are clearly passionate about their food, and so friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend this, and will be back for the daytime menu, which also looks fantastic. The only photos I took were of the dessert. A fruity set yoghurt with gulab jamun, a delicious chocolate and rose topping, garnished with pomegranate and pistachio.

I visited as part of a morning deluge of cyclists participating in a mass event. Despite this, the staff were patient and helpful. The caramelised onion sausage roll was very good, but the apple and cinnamon cake/muffin I had was to die for. A great little place to stop.

Fab little cafe, stopped in today for coffee and a light bite. Was able to park the motorcycle right outside and sat in the heated marquee area which was v cosy. Had a fab coffee and was happy to see non-dairy milk and vegan food options! Had a delicious vegan sausage roll with chili jam, cant wait to come back for another visit, thanks :-)Dietary restrictions: Vegan Options

Had a lovely breakfast here, sat out the front in the sun, with a nice view of the church in such a peaceful village. We’ll definitely come back.

My third visit here and it won't be my last. A great place to find enough calories to finish any cycle ride.Staff are attentive and welcoming, the chef gets everything on your plate at the right time so it's hot.The tea needs time to brew as it's loose leaf, and delicious.Thank you all.

I placed a large takeaway order this afternoon for 12 work colleagues, including specific vegan and gluten free options.Everybody commented that the food was excellent, and it was all prepared on time for collection and clearly packaged. We will definitely be returning in the future, many thanks to the friendly and helpful staff at Mohak!
