Went for a Thali night with a group of 15, booked well in advance. Delicious authentic gujurati cuisine cooked with care, attention to detail, and served with love. Great choice of local craft beer and wine, and had a delicious mango lassi with our meal. The hosts are clearly passionate about their food, and so friendly and welcoming. I visited as part of a morning deluge of cyclists participating in a mass event. Despite this, the staff were patient and helpful. The caramelised onion sausage roll was very good, but the apple and cinnamon cake/muffin I had was to die for. A great little place to stop.

I’m writing this on behalf of my Mum who went to Mohak for coffee with a friend this morning. On chatting to the waitress Mum mentioned that it was her 89th birthday, as well as her friends birthday today. The waitress then brought them both complementary chocolate cake! What a wonderful, kind and generous thing to do. Thank you Mohak, you made my Mum’s birthday extra special.
