Had an impromptu catch up with an old friend here. Never visited before (but then neither of us are from nearby-this is roughly halfway for us both). Lovely cosy pub. Warm, welcoming and wonderful. Good selection of beers (not loads but some good ones). Food-magnificent. Best steak and ale pie I think I’ve ever had, hands down. Staff were attentive and friendly and will happily go back when we are both free to meet up again.

Had a wonderful Christmas meal. The food was lovely. From starters to desserts the quality and quantity was great.

Warm, friendly and inviting pub. Popped in late on a Saturday and although they had a large party on they still managed to accommodate us, food was hearty and good quality and fairly priced. Staff and Locals were very welcoming and chatty.Parking: Lots of locations to park directly outside and in immediate vicinity

Very old pub, so small in height but huge in atmosphere and warmth.Great food, real ale, local cider, decent Guinness - what more could you want!

As good of a small pub as one could ask for. Ace.

Finally found a really nice place to eat just round the corner. All the food was hot and home cooked.

Walked into a busy little bar and was immediately made to feel welcome. The food service and atmosphere were excellent. As an ex-landlady, I can sometimes be a little critical. Will definitely return.

Lovely pub. Camra winner for the area for decades. Good food for fair price too. Atmosphere and friendly locals and bar staff too.

Good food, super service, nice beer, a first visit and it won't be our last. We had simple great pub grub, a burger and a steak, the grilled halloumi starter was made just a little bit special.

Abit disappointed with how long it took to get food and the gammon was very thin and burnt underneath. Don't know if they have changed chef because food was nowhere near as

Did not go into the pub, straight to beer garden, which was lovely, plenty of space between tables, we had a pram! My son got the drinks and said thr pub was lovely inside. Will go again on our next trip to huntingdon.

Lovely little bar/restaurant with home cooked food and an intimate, friendly atmosphere. Some nice 'specials' and pleasant clientele.

I really enjoyed this place. Had the veggie curry, very good. First time there, a good 4 stars.
