Not only will you get a fab friendly greeting, but fab food too. We've been having food from Medway for 5 years now and it has always been perfect! Tasty fish with a perfect crispy batter, and the chips are never dripping with grease. Battered sausages are a win, as is the scampi. Well done to all the team!

Popped in to get a fish supper after bowls. It's a really buzzing place. So busy but also so friendly. Lovely staff and attention to detail. The Haddock & Chips was absolutely delicious. Enormous portion shared with hubby. We would certainly visit again and recommend it to anyone ? ?

I was visiting Somersham for its Parish Council meeting on 4th Sept and, on my way hope to St Ives and having had great food from Medway in the past, I decided to stop by (and not on the double yellow lines either) for a Fish Supper + Curry Sauce. Being from Grimsby, I know my Cod and this was battered and cooked to perfection and of a good size too for a 'standard' portion. The Curry sauce was not too 'spicy' but complemented the chips perfectly. All for £10 too. Bargain. Of course I will return.

Medway's always delivers great food and service, very lucky to have them in the village. Definitely the best fish and chip shop around at a reasonable price and plenty of other options with pizza and kebabs/burgers as well. Can walk in and order, phone ahead and collect or order for delivery.
Only one cash machine in the village and that was out of order. Which is an issue when they won't accept card payments under £10. So went in asked for cod and chips and couldn't do that because that was under £10, so then asked for large cod, they couldn't do that because that would take 15 minutes, so then after a few minutes of trying to match what they could do and couldn't do, with the card issue, or the timing issue, I gave up!
