Visited on a Tuesday evening for dinner and didn’t disappoint. Mark the owner is one of the nicest guys we’ve ever met, went above and beyond for his customers, very attentive always making sure we had drinks and just genuinely a really nice guy. His service alone would make you want to go back and visit. We had starters, main and dessert and all were so yummy! The mango chutney onion bhajis were super yummy as was the treacle sponge for desert. We will definitely be back! Thanks so much for being so accommodating Mark! Your pub is a delight :)

Great village where everyone is really friendly and likewise in the pub/restaurant. It’s a lovely place with inside and outside spaces and, when we were there an open air cinema being created for that night I was upset I needed to head home!Vegetarian options: Have a whole vegan menu. Awesome!

Nice food but took ages to get served & between each course, felt like we were invisible to the staff. Also lots of flies in the restaurant.

So what a fantastic evening, myself and my family had a great evening meal at the crown Inn last night for my wife's birthday, We had 7 meals and every meal was cooked to perfection, vegan and gluten free are so well catered for it made the evening such a fantastic evening, the team in the crown looked after us so well, we will definitely recommend this place and will be returning very soon, Regards eddy and Julie

We had a lunch at The Crown as part of our Golden Wedding celebrations. We live the other side of the country and wanted to meet up with old friends who live in and around Huntingdon - and this was certainly the right place to do it. There were nine of us so we were sent menus in advance and ordered the food ahead, which meant we could relax and enjoy each other's company. The staff were lovely, we had a good table and the food and service were excellent. Everyone has said how much they enjoyed it - and one member of the group who has several severe allergies was delighted to have a full menu to choose from. We're really grateful to Jake and his team for making our final Golden Wedding event such a success,

We were staying overnight in the area and we had been here before, for an Anniversary meal. Last time, the food, drinks and service were impeccable. This is why we were looking forward to returning. This time was completely different. The service was substandard, to say the least. We weren't offered a drinks/wine menu, even when I stood up to look at the drinks at the bar, the server didn't say, we have a menu. We ordered food and then my husband noticed the Specials Board, no one told us about the specials, I would have had the Salmon Starter but I didn't have the opportunity to know about it. We weren't offered water for the table but my husband did ask for some water, which was brought over. When the food came it was excellent, so the food standard hasn't changed at all, shame about the service. When it came time to leave, my husband needed his wheelchair and I went to get it from the car. It was a struggle to push it over the gravel towards the path to the door. Three staff members walked by me when I was struggling, including the one I thought was the Manager/Owner, but not one offer to help. When I managed to get to the path, I saw the young lady who had brought the bill to us, had come to open the door to help me in, thank goodness one member of Staff had some empathy and tried to help. We won't be back here any time soon, but it does now seem like this place only wants to attract regulars/locals, unlike before when we were made very welcome.

Even though the wait and bar staff were very young their customer service could not have been any better! Incredibly caring & generous staff who went out of their way to make a family occasion truly memorable! Food was fab, great vegan selection, wonderfully attentive host (who really seems to love his ‘job’) & I genuinely can’t praise the young lady behind the bar highly enough, she was exceptionally talented and a natural with customers! Although we didn’t meet the kitchen staff their food was delicious and attention to detail was great! A fab day out!

Great little find, a few miles from where was staying. Staff superb, food good (that which sampled and saw), lots of experience in pub game so can quickly see a well run, well oiled machine. Would definitely return if in the area again

Bit disappointed, pub closed until 6 (Saturday 4 o’clock)only able to buy a drink from the garden bar. Was looking forward to a nice Real ale . Unfortunately not available from garden Bar but everything else . Couldn’t find anything on the website to say this. Website needs updating especially as we walked 2 miles to get here.
