Just an overall comment (not related to today's experience.And maybe because I'm the far side of 50?Why does Costa have to be so noisy? Lot's of banging and dragging of chairs and hammer like sounds. Am I the only person that gets pizzed off with this? Staff are always great. When moving chairs from point (a) to point (b) could they not be lifted from point (a) and positioned at point (b)?This is considered constructive comment!! Okay.Many thanks just cut the banging and dragging and my world will be almost perfect ?❤️?

Great staff, helpful when needed. Unable to carry tray so staff offered to help. Air-con was too cold so it was switched off. Very helpful indeed

Served by Lauren and Star today in March Costa. Brilliant service thank you and lovely coffee, atmosphere and a cake. Definitely recommend it - and a walk through the park, past the fantastic town library.

Usually come in costa 1-2 times a week, have a drink and a cake and feed my little girl. Often with friends. Always super welcoming atmosphere from Mollie, but everyone else seems miserable and extremely rude.Parked the pram outside today with my partner so I could come in and get drinks. Walked in and no one was at the till, went to nip to toilet and was greeted by a sudden ‘well are you going to buy a drink then’ by a very very rude and miserable looking girl called Lauren. I said no not yet, as I was about to open the toilet door! She said well you can’t use the toilet then. I said, well I’m going to. Thinking why can’t I use the toilet and then buy a drink. The manager then came over to the toilet, Andy. Was also very rude and confrontational. I explained that I come in all the time, needed to use the toilet first before buying drinks.He said ok. After using the toilet. I went to the till and mentioned to Lauren, that not all disabilities are visible. She then was EXTREMELY rude, in front of Andy, the apparent manager, then she stormed off. I told Andy that we wouldn’t be now purchasing a drink and sitting outside anymore due to her being so rude. I told him I would like to make a complaint about her and he said he would speak to her. I don’t think that’s good enough at all. I feel the staff desperately need to work on their customer service skills!

Not sure this place is even staffed. The people "working" were moody and unwelcoming. For the diabolical price of a coffee you expect them at least to pretend to be professional. I watched a staff member clean a table from meat products then serve without washing their hands. Need a self serve so not to be scowled at and made to feel like you've disturbed them. Tables were dirty and what looked like alcoholics hanging around outside polluting the entrance with cigarette smoke.Vegetarian options: I wouldn't trust the staff to be respectful of cross contamination.

The coffees were nice par from the cappuchino my nan had was cold despite being a warm drink, me and my cousins my mothermy nan and my aunt went in During the queue the barista was rude when my cousin asked if it had been busy and made us feel like an inconveince when thats not how they are suppose to act, then kids being kids were roaming around my cousins/the parents were trying to keep to keep them under control one was out of line but its still a child at the end of the day usually costa is a family friendly enviroment this is the first time we have all gathered up as a part of the family as we was sending off my cousin as he is off into the army next week so its been a very exciting day for the kids. The employee was about 30-40yo about 6ft greyish hair. We hope you can disipline him with atleast a warning. Kind regards -J

Staff would clearly prefer to be anywhere else. Sullen and unhelpful. No smiles here.Refused to make an iced coffee with oat milk. Said it wasn't possible, despite it being served in all other Costa's we've visited.Other customers from the queue were ferrying food orders over to the tables - perhaps more staff needed.On other occasions, different staff here have been equally sullen and unhelpful. Must be a sad place to work.
