Ye Olde Griffin

Booking was easy, staff were very accommodating friendly, and food was lovely, would definitely go again but at a quieter time maybe a week day rather than weekend but over all very happy.

Riverside Fish And Chips

Fantastic fish and chips as per usual! The cod was perfectly fried and the chips were soft and delicious. Great value for money. Highly recommend Riverside Fish Shop in March!

Leonardo's Pizza

We ordered from this restaurant for the first time and sadly our first experience was disappointing. However, the owner handled everything so professionally and kindly. They replaced our order, and the second time the food was absolutely amazing — fresh, tasty, and so much better.
It really means a lot when a business truly cares about its customers and does everything possible to make things right. Thank you for your kindness and excellent customer service. Definitely 5 stars from us! ?

My wife and i popped to marvh on Saturday for lunch.
We had a lovely meal at the pub, where Christopher and the team couldn't have been more attentive.

Lovely! Called ahead, picked up 15 mins later, everything freshly cooked, lovely chips, nice crispy batter on the sausages and not your average sausage, had a bit of a kick to it, like cumberland or something. We shared a cod as well which was well cooked and again the batter was perfect. My only minor was that the curry sauce was a bit thin, but that could just be me, I like my sauces thick ? but it tasted very nice. Proper chippy, we will be back soon!

Greggs March

This is the best Greggs ever! The one in March is the Greggs to go to. ?? the staff are so friendly here! The tables are always spotless! They are always cleaned as soon as someone has finished at their table. We travel up from Peterborough and I'm Autistic and will only eat the kids cheese sandwiches and they are always available in this Greggs. I can only eat the soft food because I have poorly teeth. I also love the Tottenham Cake because it's soft food. Also the icing is delicious! The Peterborough Greggs does not have it. Which is one of the many reasons we travel up to March.

Lovely food , staff are amazing, I enjoyed the chicken tikka biryani and was excellent the flavours spot on, recommend 100 and will return when I’m back in town

FLAMES BBQ HOUSE

Since giving up meat a decade back, my days of kebab shop haunting seemed in the past. But on a night of refreshment, we had all skipped supper so stopped in, as I was aware they have a halloumi wrap. Was not disappointed. And they have an actual charcoal BBQ going behind a glass counter, where you could watch the meat kebabs being cooked. Friendly, great service, good food.

Tesco Cafe

We regularly have breakfast and coffee here on a sunday before we do our shopping. The BEST breakfast in March, hands down!! Yes its expensive, but you get what you pay for and rhe coffee is good too! Tables always clean and staff always friendly.

Costa Coffee

Costa are all the same really, they provide a first class service. The coffee allways good. I just love the snacks and those crusty savoury rolls. Staff very efficient and pleasantly spoken. Many say expensive, but they are average, in fact the coffee quantity is more than most. The medium size is more than enough. The large has two handles, that's a Challenge for me. So great value. Thanks again.

Eastern Promise

Very good delivery but the chilli sauce has got way to hot it’s spoiling the meal making it a bit wasteful so in ways I’m not using your chilli sauce as it’s killing the taste of the food

I love Subway, it has awesome vegan sandwiches. My favourite is the vegan meatball marana with loads of alioli on. As regs the staff they are always friendly and helpful. The service is great too. I love going to Subway it always smells delicious. Makes you want one even more when you go in.Vegetarian options: The vegan/vegetarian options are really tasty. And there's plenty of choice.Parking: There isn't any parking available at the shop, but there are free car parks in town not too far awayWheelchair accessibility: It's wheelchair friendly and easy to acess

Domino's Pizza - March

This was a great joint for lunch, with welcoming staff who listened when we spoke to them about orders! I had the Carbonara Pizza at a table and it was nice, although cheese was not as good quality as other places.

Diana Tandoori

You must try their lamb Jalfrese. It is the absolute best. Succulent lamb, plenty of green chillies. We don't eat Indian often because my wife has a stomach condition. Tonight she had a Chicken Shaslak (?), delicious.

Taste of Oriental

Wow this is hands down the best Chinese takeaway l have ever tasted.
The food is simply delicious, freshly prepared and packed full of flavour.
The service is polite and really fast, it genuinely is excellent value for money hands down unbeatable on price, portions are generous and it is one of those few places where l actually get big serving of succulent prawns when l order them.
I recommend Chef's special dishes - simply to die for , Prawn Kung Po in sweet and spicy sauce with peanuts is mind-blowing as are duck pancakes ( two of my favourites)
Truly a place that deserves a five star review for delivering fantastic food that's always fresh and scrumptious.

Good Value,freshly prepared take-away.Hong Kong style, cooked to perfection.Have been using them for the last two years.Never had a bad take-away meal.Staff are very professional,quick and efficient at their job.And they only charge £1.00 for March area home delivery....Excellent!!!!

The Spice Bank

I fancied a vegetable Korma, so I ordered one. I loved the last one I had from there. It was delicious! It lasted me 2 days. There was plenty of it. Staff were polite and professional and as I was waiting for my order I took in the ambience. It's a really nice place to have a meal. We'll worth a visit.

All these negative reviews never tried a proper kebab! Great polite staff, food cooked to perfection not rushed, not even from the area and glad I picked this place to stop off at at. Fantastic service and food defo recommend!

The food was brilliant could not falt nothing was all freshly cooked and was so amazing i would highly recomend them the food was on time the driver was spot on and polite, we had the 12inch munch box with all the dooner meats bread and chips what great food this place has this is the second time we have used them and dont think we will be going anywhere else

March Tandoori

Was recommended this place by a friend, the atmosphere and food was amazing and more than what I had expected. Customer service was brilliant, we were served and greeted by Addy who was very helpful and friendly with our children. Addy also provided some free items for the kids and a discount as we explained we have travelled from a few hours away. I cannot fault the place one bit, 5 out of 5 stars. Thank you and will definitely be returning.

March Desserts

All the food was really good except from one waffle which was not to standard. I got straight on the phone with them and they straight away sent another waffle out in the next 5 minutes. This one still wasn't great which they apologised about after me calling them again and offered me a refund. The refund did take a while getting to my house but it did arrive which is why I'm giving this place a good review. They sorted my problem out and was nice about it so highly recommended ??

The Ship Inn

Cosy pub with a nice veiw over a waterway. A small place so at peak times be prepared to queue to be served. Sells good real ale at a fair price and there are some chairs out front to have your pint in the sun.

Lovely little village pub in Benwick with friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere. Haven’t tried their food yet but have heard good things so will update this review when I have ?

The Oliver Twist Country Inn and Restaurant

A last minute booking for a meal and we were not disappointed. This wasn't our first visit but it had been a while, the the place still holds it's charm . My wife had the lasagne and I had the chicken and bacon melt, both very nice. The service was prompt and the staff were friendly and professional, will be coming back

Rose & Crown

Last minute booking, very friendly, to me it was a bit like the older style pub that values customers. On the plus side they do z light bites menu, perfect for us, leaves room for a desert. Food lovely, steaming hot, yummy puds. Really recommend

Anne's Thai Kitchen

Read some positive reviews so decided to pop in for lunch.
The food is as authentic as I've had on my travels across Thailand. Even the setting has that downtown Bangkok feel to it.
The food was freshly prepared, well presented & huge portions, we couldn't eat it all.
Mama in the kitchen was really pleasant & added to the authentic feel.
A really great experience & will visit again, well done Team Anne's Thai Kitchen.

Went for our first meal on Sunday, it will not be our last. Food freshly cooked and homemade. Good value for money, can't recommend enough. Well worth a visit.

Doddington Fish Bar

First time trying this place and it was great. Service on the phone was quick, friendly and helpful aswell as when picking order up. Food was hot, fresh and tasty. We had the lamb shish wrap, mozzarella sticks and 1/4 burger meal. Good value for money and good choice of items on menu. Will be back in future thank you!

Three Lions Sports Bar & Restaurant

There were 8 of us out for the evening aged between 18 and 82 - it’s very rare to go for food where everyone totally enjoyed their meal. Service was great & food was fantastic. Very accommodating with the Gluten free options - I think they might even be getting Gluten Free sticky toffee pudding at some point ???

Cassanos Bar & Nightclub

My family hosted my Mums wake here yesterday, the food was absolutely amazing all fresh and still warm when we arrived. Hot drinks provided too with a beautifully displayed buffet. A great variety of sandwiches, a personal favourite for me was the spring rolls which were amazing. The owner was lovely, he obviously put a lot of effort into his food because it was almost all gone by the time I left! Would 100% recommend.

J & B Fish Bar and Chinese Take Away

Best Chinese take away in March. They went above and beyond to tailor a dish to my taste. I asked for it to be spicy, and they brought it out multiple times each time adjusting the spice level, making sure it was perfect. The service was outstanding, and the food was absolutely delicious.

Panini's Coffee Shop

Popped in here on a whim while visiting the farmers market and was pleasantly surprised. Coffee was good nice and strong and not over milky like the big chains. Sausage Panini was very tasty and my partner had the cheese and mushroom and she really enjoyed it. Only one gripe and that was the cash only policy as I had no cash on me so I had to pop into town to find a working cash machine but all in all a very good little cafe.

Stotts Fish Restaurant

Sadly let down with the uncooked batter, the fish was nice, as was the chips. Now I know that back in the day, the batter was discarded, and you ate the fish. Maybe the oil-fat was to ? ?

The Men Of March

Brilliant venue, Martin and Lou have done some great work with the place. Reasonable prices for drinks and food.

Decent venue if you want a game of pool or darts.

Always been a upbeat and friendly when Ive been there. They have a decent sized garden with loads of tables as well.

The Red Lion P.H.

I really like visiting the Red Lion when in the area, it’s my second visit and we drove from Nottingham for the day especially to visit Grantchester. The food at the Red Lion and the service is really good. On this occasion I did notice a few minor points which made it look a star in my review. The enamel serving wear they used is really past it’s best, it’s chipped and the coating has come off revealing metal? underneath, those dishes should be thrown away as it’s unappealing visually and ut makes me nervous as to how clean the dish can be when it’s corroded. The toilets especially the walls have cobwebs and spiders yes a country side pub will have bugs but these had been there for a while. I’m not a massive fan of spiders so perhaps I was more aware but a hoover would have been able to reach the walls and corners. It was a warm day and the doors were open which was lovely, the pub is in a gorgeous location, but it meant we were pestered by a very irritating fly or three, when you are eating it’s a bit unpleasant to be constantly swatting away flies who are tying to sit on your food. I’m not saying that it’s the pub’s fault but the food isn’t cheap and I doubt many people would want to eat food that flies had been landing on. Remember to resister your vehicle when you park to avoid a fine.

USA Chicken

By far the best ever kebab ive had EVER. I live on a boat full time traving about and get takeaways every day from many many hundreds of different places and i can most definitely sat this was the best kebab ever. Biggest persion size so big it actually beat me. Chicken was absolutely insane, the mayo was real proper stuff salad was fresh staff was great. Deffo the best

Royal China Takeaway

Food is the best in the area without a doubt it definitely recommend the salt and pepper chips, staff are friendly and helpful.

Delivery time is great even when they are really busy.
