Three of us had cottage pie tonight 30th Nov 2023 for dinner to save cooking. Food was really nice, cottage pie was very tasty. carrots broccoli and peas which were cooked aldenty and was very hot, well all the food was hot, it came with a small boat of onion gravy which was nice, side order of chips that were very nice as well.Staff and service was awesome and it felt at home with a log fire. Definitely will recommend and be visiting again soon ❤️Parking: Separate car park at the side.

A wonderful, real pub. Lovely landlady and staff. Friendly clientele. Went way and beyond in kindness when we were let down by a previous booking in another venue. Great real ale and lovely lamb shank dinner. Looking forward to returning to enjoy the open fire and Old Peculiar. Thank you all for a lovely time.

First visit this evening. Meal was hot and tasty. My husband could have eaten a 4th sausage - they were of a good quality. Good to have a menu that had veg instead of the usual chips and peas. Will visit again.Parking: Parking available on site

Food was shocking l had a lasagne , it looked like the cheese had been blow torched. And hardly any mince, a soggy piece of bread. Service so slow it was our first visit there and the last
