Delivery Nan breads not freshly made and from a packet! for the second time, thought it maybe a shortage the first time and let it go but again received pre baked nan breads, not good enough, foods always good but their standards are slipping .

Great little curry house. Went there as staging locally for my evening meal. So good I'm going back in this evening.

Nice food in a pleasant atmosphere and good service.

Great food and service. Only issue was that we were the only ones in there, albeit, it was a wednesday night.

Overall the food was really tasty, it’s about a spice level lower than curries of the same name elsewhere. So if you like heat make sure to let them know.Delivery estimate in UberEats was off by about 30mins, but to be fair when I asked for an update they gave an accurate time.

A Thursday night in January, my 70th birthday, and I was in March with my grown up children following a funeral earlier that day. Unfortunately our first choice of restaurant (as recommended by my brother) was fully booked so we came to the Spice Bank.My son is vegetarian and doesn't drink, so asked for a pint of no-alcohol Cobra. When the 660ml bottle arrived, we soon saw it was the standard 4.5%, so he switched to water and my daughter and I shared the lager.Next problem: no vegetarian menu whatsoever, so we choose a selection from the starters and sides menu together with a couple of pilau rice and a naan. The onion bhajis were cricket ball sized and ok, a little stodgy in places, and the vegetable samosas were good. The rest were various potato dishes, not particularly well spiced.Last problem - no heating. Man it was cold in there, only us and one other table.Would I visit again? No.Vegetarian options: Very few vegetarian options - only starters or sides. Avoid if you are vegetarian or vegan.

Our first visit to eat in, after many good takeaways and we were not disappointed, great food and friendly

Fast delivery with a smile. Brilliant food, tasty and lots of choices to choose from. Will definitely use again.

Great food which was piping hot, freshly cooked and served with a smile. Had the Garlic Chilli Chicken. Well recommended.

Service was terrible, we booked but no table was reserved, luckily we got a table given the town was very busy with switching on the lights. They didn’t ask if we wanted poppadoms and sauce, they just gave it and then charged £8.40. Roti and the naan bread was raw inside. Meat was as tough as the soles of shoes. Spent over £100 for a disgusting meal. They didn’t even offer a dessert menu. Will not recommend the place to anyone.

Ordered through uber, spice bank accepted the order. After an hour of waiting they said they accidentally accepted the order and we would have to get a refund which takes 5 days. Very rude on the phone. Absolutely disgracful customer service.

Came here for dinner last, there was a big group of us which I understand can be a struggle but the food was so below standard, didn’t taste authentic at all. Menu is full of spelling mistakes with no description of the food. One of our friends found a fly in her curry. When paying, the manager was very accusatory when asking everyone how many beers they had, then tried to charge us for £40 worth of beer we never had. Would not recommend nor go back.

Food was good for me because I like spicy foods, it's was hotter than I've had in other restaurants for the same dish. The only disappointment for me, was the carpet in there was disgusting, my shoes were sticking to it, and it really needs sorting from a first impressions point of view.
