We came to meet up with our family to celebrate my husband's birthday. The Inn was in a good location for the family to travel to and for us to visit old friends from where we used to live nearby. Our room was cosy and comfortable with a well appointed bathroom and generous towels. The evening with our family was a great success and this was certainly made even better by the wonderful food and service at the Inn.We would not hesitate to recommend the Crown Inn.Rooms: Comfortable, attractive and the fresh milk in the fridge was very welcome.Food & drinks: Great staff, attractive bar ( well used by locals), delicious, well presented food.

Broke up our journey for a light lunch at this very picturesque inn. Out of the 6 of us we had various sandwiches with extra sides and one a burger. All meals were well presented and very tasty, can recommend the onion rings which were the best I have had. Will look forward to going back for a more substantial meal.

I have visited for drinks and on another occasion food.I recall visiting this beautiful pub when they had their golden retriever who was so friendly. The second time we visited for Sunday lunch and my wife had a burger meal! They resolved a slight issue with my wife's burger but my lunch was excellent and the staff were very accommodating and helpful too.The pub is set in a gorgeous village and is only a few minutes and is only a 5 minutes drive from the A605.Very good food in a great little pub.Food & drinks: All very good... Cannot fault it.

40 minutes after being seated, we hadn’t been given a menu, or even spoken too by any of the service team. The small restaurant area seemed highly disorganised. We left without ordering and won’t be back.

Very disappointing. We wanted the tapas that was offered on the on line menu but this hadn’t been available for weeks ! Undeterred, we ordered off the main menu but 2 of the meals were cold and had to be remade. We waited 6 minutes to be asked if we wanted sauces etc with our meal and then waited even longer for them to arrive! There were other issues and we had our bill reduced but by then the occasion was ruined. Won’t be going back.
