Been here for food twice with my grandad and I love how varied the menu is. I had the brownie which was a bit too rich for me but I like 3 sugars in my coffee so take from that what you will. It looked amazing and I would have finished it if I had a bit more ice cream but that is just personal preference. I much prefer it here than the other 'cheap and cheerful' options close by. They all have the same boring menu and haywain doesn't. They even have hotdogs here!

Went here for a surprise birthday party and had a brilliant night. The pub was clean, and the glasses were cleared away quickly. The toilets were more than adequate and clean. The buffet provided by the pub was varied, fresh, and lovely. All in all a fantastic night

The Haywain does the best sizzling steak ever, and the service is faultless. Difficult to find fault with anything, but a fresh coat of paint on the gents toilet door would be nice.Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome here.Parking: Plenty of free parking

Beer quality and choice was excellent, sadly the prices even with a generous CAMRA discount remain one of the highest in the area.Parking: Huge car park, biggest I have ever seen for a pub, probably because it shares it with the local supermarket.Wheelchair accessibility: Very easy from the front of the pub.
