Rooms are looking tired and need an update, enamel bits broken from the bath, although staff are friendly at the hotel, the attached restaurant/pub is a different matter, very hap hazard, standing waiting to be seated for some time even though the table was prebooked, staff wandering round and took quite some time to be served, one night took two hours! From the four night stay, the meals were wrong twice and one of the nights I got told to come back to the till, after asking why, the waiter said he needed to check my bill as some of the menu prices were more expensive (in reality he wanted to check I had paid, of course I had already paid around ten minutes before through another member of staff, not impressed!) it seems that the left arm doesn't know what the right arm is doing in this place,A shame really as have visited around twelve months previous and many times before and always been good, don't know what has happened with this hotel/restaurant!

The gentleman who checked us in (Jack?) was exceptionally helpful to me and my elderly father. They changed rooms so we could have communicating doors and even made sure the heating was on for him. His accessible room was very good. Staff in the restaurant were also very helpful and kind. Service here was excellent. However the wi fi was incredibly bad in the area.

I feel you can't go wrong with a premier Inn the room are nice with tea/coffee making facilities a fan good size TV for the room with a pub attached win win thank youNoteworthy details: Carpark is free to hotel guests just need to give reception your registration number other than that it is chargeable at a small cost for non hotel and pub guests.

Me and my colleague were disgusted by the behaviour and the language of the hotel staff at the restaurant bar next door. I appreciate some may not have been working but it is atrocious for them to behave that way at their place of work. They were loud and inappropriate at a family friendly pub. What’s worse is that we could still hear them when we went to bed which was at 11:30pm! Guaranteed a good night sleep? Not a chance at this hotel!
Typical Premier Inn, not living up to the advertising! Small wait for check-in, and then no towels in bedroom. No internal phone to ring reception, so a traipse down the corridors and stairs, to wait at reception to be given towels - they couldn’t deliver them to the room. Room sparse to say the least, and bed as always not as comfortable or ‘exceptional’ as Premier Inn advertise. But at least the shower gel smelled nice! Experience confirms I remain unimpressed with Premier Inn in general, with other hotels offering better satisfaction for not a lot more money. That said, they are not the worst chain in the UK.

Warm rooms as no air conditioning, With windows open road noise. Early check in charge very poor compared to other hotel chains. No biscuits, or other facilities such as mini gym, pool or air conditioning. Premium prices with budget facilities.

the hotel was amazing the lady that was on monday night was brilliant helped us up to our room as we got there at nearly midnight and we had two very tried children she was brilliant thank you to that lady

Very noisy, floorboards around the hotel, Showers, room and toilet noise is transmitted. very poor sound deadening. I will not be staying or recommending this hotel, its not value for money when you don't get a needed sleep
