As we perused the menu with our drinks, we were brought olives and Cornfield's superb cheese straws (light, flaky and intensely cheesey). A very good start. My soup's three main ingredients merged perfectly and my guest's mouth-watering baked camembert was beautifully light, with a crispy crust. Our sliced duck and halibut & prawn thermidor were equally delicious, as was Cornfield's famed Dauphinoise potatoes.
