Really enjoyed this place as a quick pit stop on a hike. A worry is that anyone around 6ft or taller is going to have issues avoiding banging their head.

My wife and I stayed here for a night, it was a fun little pub with friendly owners. The room was clean, bright, had everything we needed. Excellent cooked breakfast. Thanks folks!

Excellent food and service, 3 of us had carvery Sunday lunch. Meat was cooked perfectly and plenty of vegetables. Deserts were just the right size. Service was excellent, attentive without going ott. Would certainly recommend with added bonus of being in a pretty village with plenty of walks.

Lovely little pub with friendly accomodating staff. Been here a few times now but will never return due to the rude landlord. Have seen him bullying his staff and unashamedly rude to customers who have a complaint. If this ignorant people /children hating buffoon realises he's not cut out for this position we may
