This is one of the friendliest tea rooms I have ever visited. It is very small and you can’t help being included in other visitor’s conversations unless you choose to sit outside and watch village life go by. Lyn makes all the cakes herself and told us that she is up at the crack of dawn (or before!) to bake daily and the selection was quite varied. First visit to this cafe. Sat outside had coffee and Victoria Sponge cake. Asked for cream with coffee and it was no trouble. They brought out order quite quickly and it is well used by the village people. Small cafe space and few tables outside. But good place to stop while on a bike ride. And next door is a nice gallery to browse around too ?

Excellent home cooked food. We had a cream tea. The scones were just out of the oven and were delicious. Very friendly staff. Will visit again.Parking: National Trust car park adjacent to the Tea Rooms - free if you are a member.
