We came here for lunch after ‘saying yes to the dress’ at Brides of Chester. We had pre-booked a table and were greeted with a warm & friendly welcome! The waitresses were absolutely lovely and made a real effort, even bringing me a complementary Prosecco and on a cute little board with my wedding date written on it, such a lovely gesture. We ordered the platter for 3-4, and it did not disappoint. Plenty of food, which was all cooked perfectly! The bar itself is clean, modern but comfortable, with a friendly and sophisticated atmosphere. I’d recommend booking as it does get busy, but now I understand why!

We were a party of six who ate here last Sunday. The service was excellent the staff being very helpful and friendly. Most of us had the beef roast that included a drink with it. All of us had a glass of red wine with it and we're really impressed with how nice it was. All the food was excellent and beautifully presented. Would highly recommend and can't wait to return.

What a fantasist bar. The atmosphere is unreal. The DJ payed such great music, that Im sure appealed to all. Can't wait to return.

We have been regulars here over the past few years with various friends and family and in my opinion there really isn’t anything else like it in Chester. The food is comfort food yet done outstanding well every time, great selection of drinks, great atmosphere and the service is really top notch. All the staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgable and really go out of their way to ensure you have a good time, more than anything, this is was puts Barlounge ahead of its competitors. Oh, and in my option it’s the best tasting Sunday roast in Chester. Not the biggest, but the nicest. The drinks prices, particularly the wine, have gone a little expensive on the past year or two but I suppose this is the trend everywhere. It needs to stop where it is though, at £15 now for two SMALL house reds, I would say that’s the limit of acceptability. Would (and do) recommend Barlounge to anyone.
Nick and Emily were so lovely and attentive and kind Honeslty felt like they were friends not workers would 1000% come here again as they were so lovely and made the experience 10/10

Another great visit while staying in Chester. The bar was extremely busy but the staff found a table for us. Great new winter cocktails to try and the the small plates were tasty. Service not as good as usual but to be fair the the staff they were very busy.

I've not been here before. In fact, I'd never heard of it !We were a party of 20, so we were expecting a hiccup or two with it being a large group.I'm happy to say that the evening went without a mishap. The food was great, the atmosphere was lovely and the service was also great. I would happily go back.

We booked a table which was the right thing to do it was crazyly busy , we got offered one of the booth type tables it was not ideal as im very short and there was no way i could get up and shimmy around the velvety type material on the seat , the seat had a foot rest which is under the seat so it would have made the whole experiance rubbish , to our rescue a member of staff moved us as he could see i was too short to even attempt the seating offered he was really polite and helpfull , the food we ordered was good i had the margarita pizza , the food came quick , the lighting however wasnt to my taste it was very dim and did not really add anything to the ambience, the place was busy and very very noisy if you want a quite chilled out meal where you can have a nice chat with friends this is not the place , you can see how dim it is with the pictures

These guys set the bar so high! The bar itself is beautiful both inside and out with a very relaxed feel and every member of staff is so pleasant and attentive. The choice and quality of the food and drink is second to none, absolutely gorgeous, the selection of cocktails and drink is superb and a food menu to cater for every taste, we strongly recommend the small bites, all are lovely ??. Thank you to the whole team for looking after us, looking forward to our next visit.
