Popped in for lunch with the kids after visiting Cheshire. Lovely place. Classic British menu. Had steak n ale pie, was supper tasty with fat chips and buttered cabbage. Kids' food was good, too! Defo recommended.

Highly recommended. Called in for lunch and enjoyed everything about this place. Beautiful interior, pleasant welcoming staff. A fabulous menu, we were spoiled for choice. The food was wonderful, home cooked - couldn't fault it. A really pleasant surprise - we will come again, thank you. A lovely change from pretentious overpriced chain pubs. Excellent.

We came for a family meal last night. We haven't been to the Egerton Arms for quite a few years. The interior of the pub is lovely. We got a lovely welcome of one member of staff. The whole experience was brilliant. The staff were friendly and helpful, the food was amazing....especially the sticky toffee pudding. We will definitely be back!
It was lovely stayed overnight the room was fabulous and spotlessly clean. The food was gorgeous and the staff were amazing so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included and probably one of the best full English we’ve ever had. Fully recommended along with their restaurant The Coast in Tarporley 5* Jayne and Suzanne Little x
