Called in today to look for a gift for a friend. Was assisted by Liz who helped me choose some dairy free Chocolate. Liz was very friendly and really helpful and knowledgeable. My friend will be made up to try the nutmilk as she always ends up with a dark chocolate. Will definitely shop here again and recommend asking Liz for any help or advice.

My favourite chocolates! I always treat my loved ones to a sleekster box on special occasions. I am particularly partial to the alcohol, fruity & dessert varieties. Grown up chocolates for Grown ups, definitely too delicious to waste on children!! Go on......treat yourself ?

For all chocolate conneseiurs, look no further. They have a range of chocolates and I think chocolate liqeor, ideal for gifts and occasions. Located in the city centre. Gift boxes are also well thought off.
Very small shop, lovely but rather expensive chocolate. Good range of stock. Limited staff in the shop. Customer service was good. Not much local parking, worth a visit if you are in chester. Would go again if buying a present or a treat.

Staff don’t know their own range. I was told they didn’t stock one of their staples. Also told I wouldn’t have a money off code at checkout and it would show up on my VIP card if I did. As it happens I do have a first visit discount voucher and no it was not used. I have a code, but assistant would not wait for me to check my email, even though they still had 20 minutes before closing and no one else in the shop.In general very unhelpful staff, with a “can’t be bothered” attitude.Shop was well stocked, not what I would call clean though.My advice: order online.

Expensive but nice. Picked up a box for half price but while waiting to pay I noticed that they only had 3 days left before out of date! I would have appreciated if this had been shown as they were for a Christmas gift. I didn't buy them. Be careful.

This lovely chocolate shop located right in the entry lane of the city centre! I lived right around the corner from the city centre and the Hotel Chocolat is my favorite chocolate brand when giving gifts! I normally shop at the Cheshire Oaks but there was a time when I didn't have much time to travel to Cheshire Oaks that I decided to pop into this branch in town. Honestly, I should have gone sooner as the staff members at this branch are so lovely and helped me out if there was any recommendations or deals! If you are wondering which chocolate shop to pop in at Chester city centre, I would recommend this branch! :)
