Hard to find somewhere to park. The key card from room wouldn't work on multiple occasions. Rude night porter and the bar and restaurant was closed early breakfast wasn't as good as other premier inns iv stayed at the orange juice tasted like um

We chose to stay here mainly because it was only a 5 minute walk from the Chester train station. It was a good move. It was spotlessly clean throughout, the staff without exception were friendly and their "Premier Plus" rooms were well worth the extra. My wife was most impressed with the Gluten free burger.

Typical Premier Inn set up, you know what you will get. Nice atmosphere underground parking(£10 for 24hrs) lager looked flat but tasted ok.Rooms: Basic but roomy. Asked for the room to be cleaned on two occasions,(I Stayed for 13 nights)both times it was not hoovered or bed changed. A very low standard for cleanliness, it was cleaned by the receptionist who was so embarrassed by it all. She was the reason I accepted an apology. Thank you for the prezzies.

Arrived 2:15, was informed that for check-in earlier than 3 pm, guests must pay GBP10...then, at 3 pm, a long queue of guests were waiting to check in. Why not let people check in gradually, as they arrive, assuming the rooms are ready? Time is wasted by checking people's bags behind the counter. Reception staff are pleasant, although very busy.Thyme Restaurant kitchen doesn’t open until 6 pm!Rooms: Glad to see dispensers of vegan handsoap and shampoo/bodywash. Good to have a mirror outside bathroom. Lots of electrical outlets in the room, including above the desk. The WiFi that’s included is not very fast; you can upgrade for GBP 5. The kingsize bed - two singles together - had no full-size topper, so the split could easily be felt through the sheet.

Always nice bed and bedding. Great location for the centre.

I would like to say that Premier Inns are that bit better than Travelodges especially when it comes to a good night's sleep. Not so in this case. While the staff, facilities and restaurant were well satisfactory, the staff being especially obliging,I would caution any future guests at taking rooms on the third or top floor. On the second night of a three night stay I spent a dreadful evening and night in one of those directly underneath an air conditioning unit for the whole building on the roof above (this source unbeknown to me at the time). It was like being below an industrial washing machine or tumble drier. On my complaining at half past midnight the duty staff came to my room and agreed the noise was unacceptable and it was because the air conditioning was on full power due to the cold weather. I was offered a change of rooms which I took up the following day.I was told that this was an issue that had been raised by previous guests and was being taken up by management...Rooms: Third floor rooms noisy

Well looked after. The reception staff had been excellent. Had a new computer system with some issues. Kept their cool white under pressure.

This hotel says there is parking. Once you get there you have to put money on the car to check in. I was then told that the hotel car park was full.I had to park 5/10 mins walk away for £12 a night. On the way back to my room a car parking space was getting sold to a couple which was hugely annoying. The room I stayed in was very run down. The shower door didn’t close and it smelt a bit funky. I didn’t stay in the hotel much though. On the Friday when I arrived there were some very loud guests which looked like they were on a works night out. They woke me up a couple of times that night. On the Saturday I was woken up too by people. I don’t know if this was because I was close to the door .The WiFi didn’t work on the Saturday and the only thing I couldn’t fault was the Breakfast which I paid for. Oh and the comfy bed.Chester was nice but i would definitely not return to this run down hotel. Travel lodges are better… that’s how bad this premier inn is
