Roses my first time ever being in chester with my husband . so far the night life in chester is horrible, people are rude made us feel uncomfortable and plus side was expensive for drinks and in every bar we went in the staff weren't nice aswell . We went in roses and we was in there for half hour popped back out and we ask is it ok to come back later as we paid to get in the bouncers said yes so we went to another bar didn't enjoy that . there so many rude people everywhere so we went back to roses the bouncer said he was drunk can't stand still he's not allowed in to my husband . i looked at my husband he was standing perfectly fine even people behind me looked abit confused. We didnt even get refund .so after that we had enough of chester went and got food and there was bouncer in the takeaway and we ask him he said that my husband looked fine and can stand still he was shocked . I know to this review see the reviews on here and the replies are so rude aswell . I know it's not all roses it's whole of chester rude, unwelcoming and so expensive , but roses is part of it .

The bouncers decided to check my wallet but faced away from me whist doing it. Once I said "I know there's only a £10 note in there" he looked back in my direction and gave me my wallet back. What was the purpose of them hiding my wallet from me during the search?

Had a great night. Ticket line was fast and entry was smooth. It was way bigger than I expected and definitely exceeded my expectations. Music was decent as well and they had more than just basic pop which was a plus.

I know your not going to like this review rosies considering I’m now being ignored about my refund ? If anyone is planning on going out to this nightclub LITERALLY save your money! They will take your money and then refuse entry and there explanation is “I don’t need to give you a reason” day light robbery! Shouldn’t take peoples money if you can’t provide service people are paying you to do! We wasn’t drunk or out of dress code but they “wasnt” racist either ? so please do tell me WHY out of a queue of about 12 there was only 3 people taking out of it. And of course them 3 people was my aunt my partner and me. Just to remind you again considering my email are being ignored my partner drove 3 hours that night to come out what a waste of money and time. Your staff was beyond rude couldn’t even look at me in the end to tell me why I wasn’t aloud in. OH AND ALSO! Your staff told me I could have a refund?? So down to the bottom of it. WERE IS MY REFUND! 3 lots of ticket money you owe me.

I highly do not recommend it to people who organize parties for a dozen or so people. Our group was very disrespected by one security guard who did not allow two people to enter. He claimed that they were drunk, they didn't even have time to reach the barrier and exchange a word with him. It's strange that this man, from a distance of 15 meters at night, can judge in a group of 20 people who is drunk and who is not. After a while, when We wanted to find out why he made this decision he said that the whole group wouldn't make it that far. We were also not allowed to talk to the manager. I also don't like the person who answers questions here. It's not pleasant. This website is for expressing your opinions, and if 20 people did not enter, and they had paid seats. That's 20 people who can write their opinion on this page.He calls us aggressive and drunk. This person that answered for all comments was not outside when this situation was happening. But that wasn't the case at all. Only one security guard was picking on us, the rest were calm. Yes, we were a loud and laughing group when we approached the gates, but sorry, we went to a party and not to the church for the funeral, especially since we had booked 3 lounges. The people in our group were around 40 years old, so we are not kids, we know how to behave. We have been going to various clubs in the country for over 20 years and have never had a problem. The only advantage is that the deposit for the lodges was quickly returned. You run a service for people, so make changes in your team, because I see a lot of similar comments here, and they are not from my friends.So if you are planning to have a birthday party for a larger number of people, I strongly advise against it, because the very nice security guard may have a bad day and will turn you all away before you reach the gates. Don't risk that ?.
All I can say is the staff are racist and bigots, because we come from a romany traveller background we are not allowed in as we are told "our kind cause trouble" . Now if that was any other ethnic or cultural group they would be under scrutiny but because its travellers it is okay. This place needs to be ashamed of its self for its service yet it will get away with it because we are a minority which gets a second glance by every other group. Chester has now lost customers which use to think highly of the city but has shown its true colours tonight with venues like this.UPDATE as I can't reply: all you have to do is look at other reviews on here, we aren't the first people to say this and we won't be the last, you should be ashamed of yourselves and just accept blame were it is. Incompetent service, inexperienced security guards (that's how they behaved)! My friend booked a VIP box at this club for his 40th birthday. He paid for it! We traveled an hour in a limousine from Crewe to have some fun there. In the limousine we drank a few glasses of prepared champagne. There were about 18 of us. We were fooling around as we walked, celebrating a friend's birthday. When I got to the club, the security guard didn't like something. They started separating people in our group, saying that they were too drunk and would not enter. The police were standing nearby, we talked to them but they couldn't do anything, confirming that none of us was drunk. The security in this club is a joke. A waste of time, nerves and money. They ruined my friend's birthday and what was supposed to be a fantastic evening. I do not recommend this club! This club is a joke, a waste of money and time!

We have a recording of the police telling us that none of us looked drunk, but there was nothing they could do about it! Do you have any proof that the police didn't tell us this?
