Just went in for drinks on my daughters 18th birthday on our way past . Staff noticed her birthday and brought over a iced bottle of prosecco on the house ...very nice touch which led to us staying for longer and purchasing more drinks than had planned. Staff very friendly and helpful ?

OK ... an interesting and pretty cheap menu for children offering good choice with an ice cream to finish - and that was nice. But ... the place has a "toilet hum" about it which was pretty unpleasant. The tables are somewhat sticky and the general decor is rather shabby. The brioche buns didn't taste particularly fresh to me and the burger patty was ... well it's very, very average at best. Grandson didn't like the broccoli (too watery) and struggled with the hashes, but my fries were fine for him! Though no mayonnaise??!! You're a restaurant - why not?? I ate for £7.50 = burger and fries and a soft drink, so I can't really complain ... but I didn't feel at all comfortable with the experience and I definitely won't be going back.
