Came in for a quick drink, and the atmosphere is warming and so friendly, landlady accepts dogs and can see has a huge passion for them, offering dog food too, such a lovely dog friendly pub, can't wait to come back.

Wonderful food, friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere. Great environment for my two children, room to play in the lovely and spacious beer garden. Dog friendly establishment too! Food was delicious and came out quickly. On our table we had pate, steaks, burgers - no complaints and all happy customers! Love coming here!

This pub was our local for the last few years, the previous landlord was very welcoming, attentive and took her time to get to know everyone who walked through the door. Since the change of hands earlier this year we’re very reluctant to go in here, the staff are rude and make it clear they’re not a family friendly pub. The only reason it’s 2 stars and not 1 is that the food is finally decent here, but unfortunately not good enough for us to return due to the poor staff

We had been recommended this place by a few family friends, so we decided to pop in, and hopefully grab some nice food and a few drinks on this nice evening, it was far from nice! Went to the rest room to find a massive human excrement in the urinal, that absolutely stunk the place out, I made several staff members aware of it but they didn’t seem to be bothered! I even took a picture to show them. I managed to find a cubicle that was clean enough for me to do my business, while I was sending the kids off to school, I heard 2 guys come in and hurry into the cubicle next to me, they were obviously doing drugs of some kind, because they kept sniffing very loudly and then it all went quite! I’m not homophonic one bit, I have several gay bi friends and family members but they were obviously pleasuring each other! Come on guys there’s a time and a place for that! And it’s definitely not in a public house in the toilets! Anyway I got out of there without being abused in anyway! Told my friends what had happened and we made the so called management aware of the incidents and they just said that’s what happens in here now! Like it or get lost! Making me feel like I’m the one in the wrong for telling them! I will never be returning to this establishment and will be telling everyone about the complete disregard from the management and staff! Each to their own I say! But say way clear if you can read between the lines!

Staff are very friendly and the place itself is nicely decorated with a great beer garden. However, went for Sunday lunch and there was no horseradish or mustard to go with beef - unacceptable given that there is a Co-op across the road. Yorkshire pudding & roast potatoes burnt to a crisp. Dinners drowned in gravy and peas. Bar had run out of basic house spirits. Want to support local, but very disappointed by a lot of basic problems that could be avoided.
Lovely local pub. Even better staff and the beer garden is a delight. Would highly recommend.

Booked in for Sunday Dinner at 130, Google opening times stated 12 so we went a little early but found it was closed. So we went to a neighbouring bar for a drink before returning at 145 .. we were greated by a very rude bar tender, she was almost so rude we thought she was joking saying "sorry we've given your dinners away" in a very ignorant tone. Granted we were late, and "giving our dinners away" is totally reasonable.. however the manner on which that message was delivered was unacceptable. Will never return

The staff in the pub are truly amazing.Drinks are nice and cheap and the food is also really good.The whole place is so so clean which helps.They are proper licensees.
