Excellent value cooked breakfast (less than £7!!!) from lovely people. Limited space partly because so many locals come in (obvs a good sign).As much as sausage and bacon float my boat, the best bit was the 'brown bread toast'; it's a fantastic seeded thick cut wedge of taste that deserves a plate of it's own!All done in an incredibly tiny space.Shame it's 150 miles from home ?And the teapot was topped up for free ?
Me and my husband met up for a coffee in town and I suggested Brown Sugar as I’ve been there before. The owners are friendly, warm and welcoming. The cafe is spotless and cosy. I had the best egg mayo sandwich ever and my husband really enjoyed the homemade soup. The mug of tea and the cappuccino were piping hot - lovely! Likely to become our go to place!

A small, friendly little cafe with a good selection of hot choices and a tempting choice of cakes and pastries! It's a small place with only a few tables so sometimes you won't get a seat. But there is takeaway available! Coffee is good, breakfast sandwiches are good and the cooked brekkies look great too!
