Lovely afternoon tea here, great part of Chester but sadly the service wasn't great. Waited a very long time to be seated and had to ask for our Tea/Coffee part of the Afternoon Tea. It was busy so appreciate the staff may have been overrun.

We enjoyed a fantastic wine tasting experience at Veeno - 5 wines with a huge charcuterie board followed by a dessert wine with a delicious tiramisu. We were guided through the experience by Ellie, who was very knowledgeable, friendly and fun. A wonderful afternoon and great value. We'll definitely be returning.

Lovely food,shame about service, we had to ask four our tea and coffee,as food brought to us but no drinks so we had to ask, also long wait when we arrived, we waited about 15 mins by bar when we arrived,it wasn't busy,female behind bar didn't acknowledge us for 15 minutes but no other customers waiting, when we asked for our hot drinks I asked for a coffee and was brought a cappuccino, bit rich to have with afternoon tea. Daughter asked for mint tea but given green tea. On the plus side food was delicious.

We sat outside so atmosphere was hard to judge…. Nice sitting out front people watching.We had the shared Quattro Rossi- 4 different taster wines and Italian meats, olives, bread etc to combine. These were really good and tasty. Look forward to returning and having a main meal.

Great food and wine but what really made our evening was Ellie. From the moment we arrived (without a reservation) she made us feel so welcome including moving us to a bigger table so we had room for the Grande sharing board and a decanted Barolo. Friendly without being intrusive she made it a memorable evening. We’ll be back!

Had a wonderful afternoon at Veeno in Chester. My husband and I had the Sicilian wine tasting experience which was excellent. We were served by Grace who was lovely any very knowledgeable explaining each wine as it was served and also which of our food platter went with that particular wine . We would definitely recommend it and will be going back with our friends and family.

Booked an afternoon cheese and wine session and our waitress was Ellie. She knew her stuff regarding the wine and how it complimented the cheeses. We've booked again next month with different family and a different theme. Hopefully it'll be as good as this one.

Prefect day for my sisters wedding , it’s was only a small party of 4 however we was treated so special and the staff made it such a magical day, wine and food lovely. Service was provided by Ellie and she certainly made the occasion extra special and had such great knowledge for someone so young. Loved it that much me and my husband have rebooked the Sicley food pairing for October with different family member , thank you so much for making the day so special.
