As always our visit to Reubens last night did not disappoint. Amazing food and service. Love this place, lucky to have such a great venue in Congleton.

Found this restaurant on trip advisor. Best recommendation. Great staff, extremely tasty food (wife is a vegetarian and loved the sloppy veggie joe). Jerk chicken etc all faultless. Would recommend

This Congleton mainstay is still firmly on the map albeit a more casual experience which is in no way a criticism. We received a warm welcome and seated promptly - the star dropped was solely for the temperature in the front restaurant. (Not the rear) It was a very cold night but there wasn’t a fire lit or heating to be felt which made it a very draughty night - coats required! Back to the positives - The staff were all lovely! Requests slightly off piste were no trouble. A big shout out to Becky our server.. clearly a professional with experience… not often the case! She was very friendly helpful and so efficient which helped make our evening overall an enjoyable experience. The burgers were excellent - definitely a great burger to be recommended!! But they always have been… Reubens has stood the test of time!!

Arrived 6.05pm food served at 7.10pm - too long Waitress not sure what different IPAs were like but did find out I ordered Chef Special. Thought I might struggle to finish it but did so easily. Chilli on my plate was cold! Sat next to toilet door which smelled - they need a good extractor fan in there Complained as overall disappointed but will give 1 more chance as actual food was very good and manager seemed genuinely concerned about our experience

Been our go to spot for years now. Tried most of the menu at this point and everything I have leaves me excited to come back. Awesome service from Tiff and Sophie!

Absolutely fantastic service from all 3 staff members, Sophie, Tiff and Toby. Food of the highest quality as always and refreshing beverages to go with. It was also my birthday and I received a complimentary ice cream with chocolate sauce! I will definitely be returning, brilliant establishment all round.

The ribs were so salty you could not eat them- my husband agreed. When I spoke to the waitress she suggested we were lying & the sauce was fine- rude- I do not usually complain- I have worked in many restaurants & know it’s a tough job but the service was rude- I could not eat the ribs- been a few times in the past & ordered takeaway- will not be back ? ruined my hubby’s birthday

Ordered a takeaway from here, was disappointed to be honest, chicken burger was bland, delivery took nearly 2 hours and when it arrived it was all squashed and lukewarm, when I rang, I was just told it's been a busy night!
I couldn't fault anything I ate nor the level of service. Because of the huge array of options on the menu I was thinking I'd be coming back before even ordering. After eating a fantastic meal I can say for sure that I'll be going back! I had the 'Hamwich' burger which had a lovely crisp nacho coated chicken breast and tasty pulled ham hock housed in a soft potato bun with just the right amount of cheese sauce. A really enjoyable burger. The ribs were also superb. Amazing flavour from the chinese style seasoning. PERFECT sweet potato fries, crispy but light and fluffy in the middle. I could have eaten them for hours. Some refreshing house slaw completed my delightful fill of grub. Really pleasant staff and a cozy establishment. I'm excited to return and try some other delights from the menu!

This is by far the best diner grill food and unique ales around Congleton/stoke. Always trying to make it in time if were close. The ribs are near perfect.
