Four of us had an evening meal on Easter Sunday and it was absolutely delicious. The steak was so tender and perfectly cooked, the salmon was moist and delicious and the lamb moussaka was excellent too. We had a great evening there with the best food. Would highly recommend.

Not normally one to leave reviews however while waiting for my order the lady that was there was outstanding- not only did she have the patience of saint teaching the gentleman behind the till she was communicating with the kitchen staff taking phone orders and ringing a customer back that the gentleman had got in a muddle taking their order- I did pass all this on to the lady herself (turns out she was the delivery driver and not even instore staff). This lady needs proper recognition she was the glue that held the restaurant together tonight!

My elderly dad ordered yesterday for a family birthday celebration, we love Indian food, but since we have an anxious dog at home, we didn’t want to leave her. The delivery guy was super nice & friendly as a new customer to my Dad. The food was super so fresh & clean tasting. Huge fan of the chicken tikka, really nice quality chicken pieces. The samosas are definitely homemade too which is really enjoyable. We would definitely return because it was a delicious experience. We ordered bhuna & masala but i think next time i might go for a medium heat curry, to try something new from the menu. Really fair prices, as long as you don’t get carried away, which is difficult when everything looks so yummy.

I have to say, I haven’t enjoyed fish and chips of this quality in quite some time. The fish was cooked to perfection and the chips were just the right level of crispy ?. The staff were absolutely lovely—kind, polite and very welcoming. I especially thought it was a sweet touch that they gave my nephew some sweets and treats for kids, which had him leaving with a big smile.
I always make a point of checking hygiene ratings and it was great to see this place has a 5-star hygiene rating

Been going here for years and it’s easily the best kebab shop around. The donner meat is hands down the best I’ve had anywhere — proper tasty every single time. The zinger burger with donner meat and chips is unreal and probably the best value for money on the menu. Big portions, great flavour and always spot on. Friendly staff as well. Honestly can’t rate this place highly enough.

Wow what can I say tasty Chinese food at last , we have had their food a fair few times , it’s lovely quality food with a smile , couple of niggles we had chicken wings tonight they were so small in comparison to other times they could of added a couple extra . Smaller than my tiny fingers , little expensive but the meat is really tender and flavoursome, please Dnt change (apart from the small chicken wings that are delicious though )

Had a great time at Rumba for a hen do! We booked the cocktail class for 8, which was really fun and flexible. We received a welcome drink on arrival, then could go to the bar to make our two cocktails when we were ready for our next drink. Each person could choose any cocktail from the menu, allowing us to try a variety of drinks. We also got two shots in the package too, which was great value at £35.
I'd particularly like to mention Kyle, one of the bartenders, who was friendly and helpful throughout our evening at Rumba. His knowledge of the cocktail menu was great! The other staff are Rumba were also very helpful throughout the evening. Would highly recommend!

Not a lot of enthusiasm in the shop today, I was asked “what do you want” in a rude tone, by a young lad which my partner was not impressed by, so the decent staff were told to tell the miserable one to sort his attitude out. Not a way to speak to customers at all, I’ve worked in retail- that’s not how you do it. Quite unorganised and a lot of the food looked dry due to not being covered individually which i thought was a normal thing, so I went for my usual safe option. Quite disappointed with the attitude from some of the employees, other than that the older guy on the till was lovely, the lady who took over making my sandwich was nice. I get it’s a hot day, but you wouldn’t even be able to tell in that shop as they have good air con so really, no excuse for the attitude. Also, don’t go on your phone whilst working with food, to the young lad.

One of my friends recently discovered this wonderful Tibetan restaurant in Congleton, and we travelled all the way from Sheffield just to dine here. It was absolutely worth the journey. The ambiance is calm and inviting, the food is crafted with real care, and the service is warm and attentive. The standout dish for me was the beef momo — genuinely the best momo I’ve had anywhere in the UK. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone, especially those who appreciate Tibetan culture and authentic Tibetan cuisine.

Really nice fish but having ordered fish and chips, got home to find i only had a fish. This cock up, and the long wait time as they process one order at a time rather than getting the fish in the fryer, spoilt the experience. So in summary, nice fish, but due to the poor comms internally I can't comment on the chips......

We had a private function on Saturday afternoon upstairs at Higher Ground for my Daughters Baby Shower. We had the entire upstairs to ourselves for a party of 20. I just want to thank you all for a lovely afternoon. The service was great and the food they provided for us was delicious. Everything was fresh and presented beautifully. I had alot of the party compliment how nice the food was and say what a great afternoon they had had. They allowed us to have the room beforehand to decorate as we wished with decorations and balloons! I will definitely be recommending yourselves! Saturday 4th October 2025, My husband and I went to visit Victoria Mill Antique & Craft Centre, housed in a former mill. \n\nMy husband and I entered this wonderful and amazing place with all sorts of objects de art, antiques, vintage clothes, house wares, records, antique and vintage jewellery, furniture and curios. We spent the rest of the day here until it closed at 4.00pm.\n\nMy husband and I started on the fourth floor and worked our way down. After the first hour and half we were both in need of refreshments so we went to ‘The Loft Café’.\n\n‘The Loft Café’ is run by a very friendly and welcoming man called Ian. We found a nice table for two and looked at the small but interesting menu. We both had ham and cheese toasted sandwiches, which were delicious and set us up for the rest of the day. Mark had a pot of tea and I had a decaffeinated latte coffee. We spent a nice hour here.\n\nMark and I then explored the rest of Victoria Mill Antiques Centre.

Rotating street food on fridays by many local vendors, every fortnite you have Pizza and a Pint with crescent catering, or Chippy thursdays with Hightown Chippy and a great quiz every wednesday with many prizes. Every week theres a rotating keg line so theres always a chance to try something new, including lagers, IPAS, stouts, sours and some of the greatest staff around.
The best beer garden around too with plenty of shelter and even outdoor heaters!

Old British pub with a low roof. Not too much choice of IPAs on tap. More for the elderly crowd in my opinion.
Easy place to grab a pint and have a chat.

A few months ago we attended a 60th birthday party, Top Nosh were catering for this and we were very impressed by their service. So much so, that we booked Top Nosh as the caterers for our wedding reception. This was for a buffet and waitress service to cater for over 100 people. Their service is excellent, the staff handled everything seamlessly and without drawing unnecessary attention. The menu is broad and all dietary needs were catered for. We highly recommend them and would certainly book them again. Thank you Desne and the team.

We took our children for breakfast they found somewhere to sit easily was busier than expected. We ordered at the bar with a polite member of staff we asked for alternative scrambled eggs instead of fried on two breakfast this was no problem at all. Breakfast arrived three out of six missing hashbrowns when asking the waitress they where very apologetic and went to get them straight away returned a few minutes later great service. Refillable drinks went down well Only criticism was the tables weren't cleared before we left.

Vanilla did great at catering our wedding, the pre wedding prep was quite admin heavy but meant that we knew that they knew everything there was to know about what we wanted for the wedding.

On the day, the team absolutely smashed it, the food was delicious, filling, and looked really fancy! Perfect for wedding food. The team ensured we had a plate of canapes to ourselves so we didn't miss out. The staff during the meal checked in loads to make sure we had everything we needed! We had a fully vegetarian meal and was a bit worried because sometimes vegetarians are a after thought, but vanilla was happy to fully commit to the vegetarian meal, and make each dish a show stopper in itself!

Iryna was lovely on the day, Tia helped us through the prep, and all the staff were so professional and happy to help in any way possible.
