My son took me here first as he rated the coffee and he's quite a Cofficienado !!!Three recent visits in the last 10 days.First, again with my son for coffee and a snack. We both chose a warm pork & apple sausage roll. He had his usual black Americano and I opted for a capacunio. Everything was spot on including the service, the cleanliness and the friendliness of the staff.Second, quick nip in for a capacunio "to go" in between incoming and outgoing buses. The bus station is only a 5 min walk.Third, was today where I ordered what I'd seen on the menu wall on my previous visit. Hot roast beef with onion gravy served on a floury bap. Seasoned with a tiny bit of salt it was truly delicious. Washed down with now "regular" capacunio.Highly rated in every way. 5 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A lovely surprise popping in today. All the staff were so attentive and I don’t know who the owner is but a lovely lady called Sadie served us and seemed to be keeping everything just right. Nothing too much trouble. Super clean. I had a vegan sage roll and salad, it was delicious. My husband had a sausage wrap that was also tasty. The oat lattes are really creamy. Such a nice atmosphere, so friendly and cosy. You can tell that local people go in here and that’s because they know it is always good.

We really enjoyed our lunch yesterday. We chose a Roast Pork Bap with stuffing, apple sauce and gravy and a Tuna and Cheese Wrap served with salad and coleslaw. We also had a slice of Carrot Cake and a pot of tea.Lovely fresh food, great service and surroundings.Thank you Becky, Kev and the team.

The service here was a tiny bit slow. But the food, the coffee and the overall ambiance was great. The staff were very friendly and jovial. I would recommend the Vegetable Samosa.

Ordered coffee and a sandwich for lunch. The coffee was excellent, but after 20mins there was no sign of the sandwich. Difficult to think of returning for lunch again after that.

First time in Congleton to look around. Went in to order some cake and a coffee. Checked what the cakes were and ordered one, the lady serving said I'll have to check whether I can serve you because we close at 4, looked at the clock and it was 2 minutes past. She asked the man next to her, who I presume was the owner and he said it was too late. We had been waiting in there for well over 2 minutes to be served. Won't ever return, thanks!

Popped in for coffee. Saw the egg custards in the window and couldn't resist. Helpful staff moved a table and chairs to accommodate us. The egg custards were even better than expected, the best we had ever had. We live in Crewe but are looking forward to visiting this tearoom again

During my recent dining experience, I must admit that I was not very impressed. My friend and I had ordered dinner with the intention of having dessert afterwards, but unfortunately, the meals arrived barely warm, and the side dishes did not come with the main course. To make matters worse, part of our order was not even cooked therefore had to wait for another side order. After a few hours of chatting, we asked the waiter if we could order cake. However, she informed us that they were closing in just two minutes, and we were not given any prior warning. From that point on, it felt like the staff did not appreciate our presence, and there was no effort made to engage in general conversation. While I must acknowledge that the establishment has potential, I do not think I will be returning anytime soon. The service was subpar, and the food could have been much better. I hope that the management takes note of these issues and makes the necessary improvements to ensure a more pleasant dining experience for their customers.
