Lovely food and huge portions! Ordered a few meals to take back to work for staff lunch and we had no complaints. Food was made quickly and the ladies behind the counter were lovely. Will definitely have again.

Popped in after dropping my wife at the airport. Place (no pun intended) was very busy and I can see why.Great food, great service and great value. I had a kebab and my son had a burger. Both were delicious.You have a new customer!

We use Mario's regularly, good fish and chips, decent portions and efficient service. Sure, you may get 'better' at the coast, but no complaints with this being my local!

First and last visit. Fish, tasteless and the batter soggy. Chips soggy. Certainly not cooked to order. Tipped most of it in the bin. Mushy peas were good.
The only chippy in Congleton i go to. Friendly, helpful staff. Portions are massive for lunchtime at work, just want to sleep after.

Everytime we have been here the chips have either been greasy, raw or all mushed up. We’ve been lots of times thinking it can’t be as bad as last time but it is!

The best chippy in town! I have been a customer of Mario's Fish Bar for over 4 years. The food is very tasty! The kebabs are my favourite, oh so yummy...Chips are homemade and not frozen like other places. Overall is very good value for money! Service is excellent and very quick. Always a busy place, so yeah, they are doing something right! The staff is very polite and will always serve with a smile! So lucky to have it in the area!

Been going here nearly 3 years now, the food is generally good although sometimes the chips are a bit under done. You certainly get good portions for your money. The thing that lets it down is the service, the women serving can either be very friendly or downright rude, I’ve unfortunately experienced and witnessed both. Also had comments made about me being late for my click and collect when I was only a few mins behind, but had to stand for over 5 mins while the only person serving chinwagged with an extremely indecisive customer. Just completely unprofessional, but unfortunately it’s my local. Has to be said, Hightown Fish and Chip shop has just as good food but better customer service.
