Food was good, nice portions and fresh meat. I just wish they’ve added more greens to the lamb, as it felt like it lacked a bit of something veggie in there.Had calamari as a starter, once again, was high quality squid, but they didn’t put a lemon on the side. Little details like that made me rate it to 4/5.

Food was absolutely fantastic and all the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Can't comment on the atmosphere as we were in there as soon as the place opened so were the only people in. Highly recommend and we will definitely be going back

I'm genuinely sad to have to say this about our favourite restaurant ?.. the service is perfect, food perfect staff/owner also very friendly and welcoming since day 1.. but to add 10% 'service charge' (£14.50 ) to our bill without any prior notice is just a bit ridiculous.. when I asked the young lady waitress the meaning of a 'service charge" I was told "because its xmas" . The poor girl could see I was confused by this as £60 per head for 3 courses and mince pie/ coffee was surely enough without be being 'forced to pay a tip of 10% by billing customers.. our bill was £145 with a bottle of wine for a 2 hour visit plus this 10% 'charge'.. I paid cash which wasn't even counted as I waited so in the end i left without my change as I my self said 'keep the change in the end just so I could leave without causing any fuss ..I was asked if everything was OK I have to admit but it was easier to walk away without offending the owners and let the customers carry on with their dinner.. Sadly Sadly I can't see us returning, it really put a cloud over what was my first ever Xmas dinner with my new partner who loves the place but agrees it was ridiculous.. we've have visited no.15 at least 5 times at least in 2mths.. so sad .. or am I just old fashioned?

Fantastic food, great service and incredibly well priced. We are repeat visitors here and I’m pretty sure we will remain so. I would highly recommend the calamari, and the starters to share as they are wonderful. The lamb shank is HUGE, and the mash super tasty!
