As said in the other reviews, the atmosphere to this place is probably the best in Congleton, however the drink prices are ridiculously high for what it is in my opinion.

as a group we went here 4 weeks ago and had an amazing night . Same group tried to go last night and we could not get in due to having no photo ID the issue I have with this is I was the youngest and iam 42 so as you can expect me and our team do not carry our ID
Jazz and blues festival weekend, not sure if the prices had been raised because of that, I had a pint of cider and my wife had a gin and lemonade and it came to £11.55, personally I thinks that's expensive.

My daughter had a bad experience here last night, she had her drink spiked. Reported to the police. I understand from the Managing Director how this was handled by Rumba, they are committed to ensuring the safety of their guests for now and the future. Having established links with the police in Congleton they will search anyone entering the premises and scan their ID into their system, all unattended drinks are collected by staff and you have the option of drinks toppers. Whilst we applaud these actions it goes without saying that the culture of spiking needs to be eradicated, and I dread to think of what would’ve happened had my daughter not had such a good group of friends who took such good care of her…
