Lived in Congleton all my life but try to avoid this filling station like the plague, fuel prices go up for no apparent reason + 16p a ltr more for vpower unleaded (10p Shell Winsford) WHOLESALE fuel prices are well down. blatant profiteering!

Total rip off for fuel. By far the most expensive place around pretty much 365 days of the year. Even though fuel has dropped in price in recent months their diesel price is still spectacularly high, complete rip off merchants. Do not use this garage unless you are about to run dry, go anywhere else you can.

I’ve lived in Congleton all my life and this petrol station has a reputation locally as being the first petrol station in the area to increase prices and the last to reduce them. I think the owner should look after the community that serves it or else as is more common these days you hear of locals boycotting shell by driving out of their way to Biddulph or Padgbury lane where fuel is guaranteed to be cheaper. I understand the point of business is profit and that’s fair enough but I feel as do many locally that greed is more of a factor as far as shell Congleton is concerned.

What a joke. Don't bother going when it's dark when you might need a late night grocery or snack. The doors will be locked, and the staff have no interest in helping. I can go to Macdonald's next door for a burger, but I can't get a pint of milk... Thanks.

Easy access (ooo errr missus). Next to Tesco and maccies which is a bonus.V Power (petrol AND diesel) are available. 12p more than standard fuel which seems a tad more than it should be.

This Shell is owned by an independent dealer...and prices are set extremely high. Sainsbury's Biddulph nearby far cheaper. The staff are nice...but the prices they are charging are sky high and frankly ripping off the local community.

We went today to get diesel and only v-power was available but price was 155 and we drove past yesterday and price was 135. Absolutely shocking prices.
Not the cheapest.but well set out.shop well stocked..shell is decent fuel

Polite staff but fuel is expensive, £1.27 regular unleaded? 1st March 2021, yet another shell near work is £1.21, how's that.
