We went for a private function but did notice on the tables ready for lunch that all the vinigar bottles were very near empty as were the salt pots, i thought this place was a bit more upmarket than that. Also they can not make a decent coffee.

Great home cooked food....homemade chips and onion rings. The young team are super-friendly and helpful. Prices are almost too cheap for the well-kept beer and lovely food. Can highly recommend.

Terrible meal !! On the 5 June 22, loved that place , went there for my birthday it was such a disappointing meal , looked like the menu was cut down . Not my fave place anymore. Very sad !!!

Was looking forward to dining here as had looked at the menu and it had quite a few options for vegetarians. Was very disappointed that when we ordered they only had garlic mushrooms & vegan burger. Why not update your website? I ordered the vegan burger which consisted of 2 very dry burgers with a hash brown on top (dont know why that was) and literally a ton of dry fatty chips. Presentation of all the dishes was appalling. My husband had the burger and he only ate his because he was really hungry and said the chips were disgusting. Our son had the curry and did not have enough sauce on so was also dry and said it wasnt tasty at all. The girl who served us seemed bored and did not smile once. The toilets were not clean and could do with a refurbish. All in all the whole experience was not nice. We will not be recommending this place and cannot understand why other reviews are mostly positive. Did they go to the same place.?

Just been to this pub/restaurant for a buffet Wake after a funeral. My Son & partner are Vegans and the buffet had nothing compatible with Vegans. I spoke to the member of staff who immediately suggested he do a Vegan burger. These arrived soon after, I offered to pay as they were not included on the buffet, but was told parent not necessary. Great service, great buffet, great burger.Well done to all staff

We only live 5 minutes down the road so its our local but its a shame as we wont return for food again. We have been a few times and everytime there seems to be a problem or issue. Definately needs looking into and improving. Im sorry but it could be alot more than it actually is

100% last minute book in for two with our dog after a walk. Lovely people and very accommodating, quick turn around on food (we had the fish and chips) great food and customer service. Would recommend and come back ?
