The burger and onion rings came out freezing cold..the Mrs had halloumi which was cold and tastes stale..the staff were very rude said that’s how halloumi tastes! They took the burger back and warmed it in the microwave came out still Cold and at risk they were going microwave it again I asked for a refund..absolutely disgusting cold and stale food and staff didn’t seem to care…definitely will not return!

£7.50 for a breakfast and a coffee. I know it's pub food but that today was awful I could taste the frozenness of the hash brown. Everything was just about warm to be honest but that hash brown was disappointing to get.

No milk in coffee machine or in jug, staff didn’t seem bothered about it until 5 people complained, food arrived eventually and was lukewarm at best with burnt toast.2nd week in a row there’s been issues, I’ll be going to biddulph in future!

I rang up and told them that we have a therapy dog and also told them that he would be in a pushchair and they insisted on seeing I.D. It is not not a legal requirement to show I'd for a working dog in the UK. Obviously they are on their own , because we have been in numerous wetherspoons in Britain and out of courtesy I have always asked first, instead of walking in. Seems to me that that particular wetherspoons is run by a total a hole.

Good value traditional, breakfast, lots of food. If you eat this every day it would probably not be very healthy. But now and again it’s excellent.

We took our children for breakfast they found somewhere to sit easily was busier than expected. We ordered at the bar with a polite member of staff we asked for alternative scrambled eggs instead of fried on two breakfast this was no problem at all. Breakfast arrived three out of six missing hashbrowns when asking the waitress they where very apologetic and went to get them straight away returned a few minutes later great service. Refillable drinks went down well Only criticism was the tables weren't cleared before we left.

Food is usually ok but tables often not cleared very quickly when customers leave, with dirty plates/glasses left behind and tables not wiped down properly.

Typical large Spoons. Pleasant rear outdoor area. Quick food service even if busy

2 of us had breakfast here this morning. To be fair it looked quite nice when it arrived but both were cold, luke warm at best. Totally ruined breakfast as such we ended up leaving most of it. I wouldn’t return again…

Required a cold drink after wandering around nearby Mow Cop. Wetherspoons in Congleton was a safe bet to get a cool pint at a reasonable price. Bar service was quick and place was not very busy for 5pm.

Staff are very polite but your policy of not accepting pound notes from Scotland is disrespectful and degrading. Head office needs to get this sorted because if this was the case in Scotland there would be an outcry if staff were rejecting English notes

Nice pub in Congleton that used to be a bank. One of the rooms is the old strongroom.

Lots of staff and very nice helpful staff too with a sense of humour! Nice and clean too, brilliant prices and a good atmosphere.
