We used Vanilla in Allseasons as our caterer for our wedding at Sandon Hall in September 2023 and they were phenomenal. It was extremely important to us that our food was excellent and that guests left satisfied and Vanilla rose to the occasion magnificently.The only 'problem' with Vanilla is that they seem to be willing and capable to work with pretty much anything, which made it so difficult to narrow down our choices once Vanilla had added their fantastic suggestions! We worked with Adam from initial contact til our tasting session, then Max for the final bits just before the day. Adam has a wealth of experience and knowledge and we knew we were in capable hands from our first meeting, and so many ideas and suggestions for little touches we could make. We were blown away during our tasting session and on the day Vanilla produced to the same amazing quality and taste that we experienced on the small scale for our tasting, while looking beautiful and served hot.Iryna ran our food service on the day and was wonderful, took the time to introduce herself properly and ensured everything ran smoothly (and deliciously). It was also good to see how efficiently Vanilla worked; our final tables were being served their dinner while we were only halfway through our own which isn't as common as it should be at weddings!I'd like to make a special note about dietary requirements. One of our guests has severe coeliac's disease and is often nervous eating at unknown places due to bad experiences in the past. When I spoke to Vanilla about this they were able to accommodate her allergy in a way that meant she had a 'safe' version of everything that we had rather than some poor alternative which is what you sometimes find. The server for her table took the time to introduce herself personally and ensure she felt comfortable. We had pie for main course and the GF pastry was so good she couldn't believe it was actually GF. This made such a difference to our guest and therefore to us, and I was really so pleased and impressed with Vanilla's ability to source alternatives and their professionalism with putting our guest at her ease too.We would not hesitate to recommend Vanilla to anyone and we loved everything they produced for us, as did our guests. We had really enjoyed our tasting session, but the food on the day was even better. So many people at the wedding commented on the meal, saying it was the best wedding breakfast they’d ever had. It went beyond our expectations – Vanilla in All Seasons served up a genuine feast! From the lovelylittle canapes, to the delicious sharing board starter and mains of a whole chicken pie and beef stew, the food went down a treat. The all-important mash (a particular favourite food of mine) was even declared “another gravy” by guests over from Yorkshire (a compliment indeed!). The team were so helpful, kind and discrete on the day and were also flexible with food for my father, who was unwell. We wish we could eat the meal all over again! Sooo good (and we’re proper foodies!). The tasting experience was fab! Think I had a food coma for 24 hours I ate so much! We had 3 canapés - buttermilk chicken, goats cheese Bon bons and duck pancakes, then the tomato and mozzarella bruschetta for start, chicken with chorizo crumb and manchego cheese croquette, then the grand finale - the trio of desserts - as there were too many delicious desserts to choose from! Everyone commented on how delicious the food was and how much food there was! Even the evening food portions were huge and amazing! We had a lot of dietary requirements amongst guests and nothing was too much problem for vanilla - everything went smoothly and guests even thanked us for catering for their requirements to well! After we enjoyed everything we sat down with the team to settle on the best options for us and how we would like it to look on the day.The payment schedule was set out from day one so it was a breeze to get everything sorted on that side. They reached out directly with regards to the final meeting to confirm numbers and the details of the day. This part was really helpful to feel like everything was under control and would be fine on the day (thanks Max!)Finally we get to the big day and I cannot thank the whole team enough. We had our wedding at Sandon Hall in July and chose the bespoke option - this meant we had SO many choices from VinA as our caterers. We also chose to have a choice menu to allow our guests a choice of 3 options for each course.On the run up to the wedding the communication was great, we had regular email contact, a video call and a tasting evening. On the tasting evening all of the food was delicious and the portions were huge! The team were very accommodating with e.g. changing the plates/cutlery etc too to make sure everything fit with our theme.On the day the food was brilliant. ALL of our guests have commented on how well presented and delicious the food was. The portions were definitely significantly smaller than at the tasting but we were all super full so it wasn’t a problem (it’s just worth noting as we were told at the tasting they would be the exact same). The service was brilliant, we had one server per table and ours was Emily who introduced herself to us at the start of service and was the most lovely, friendly person - huge thanks to her for her constant smiles!Our personal (and multiple guest!) recommendations from the menu would be:Summer AranchiniCheshire beef with Parmesan chips and kale chipsBanoffee pieOverall, service was brilliant and food was delicious, thank you!!

Had our wedding at the Cowshed @ Foxley Brow in Antrobus in June this year and had been recommended VinA by the venue. From our first call we knew were in safe hands. VinA helped us plan the outline of the day, provided so many options for food, organised a bespoke starter for us and made sure we could kept track of every step with 'outline of the day' and budgeting docs. On the day the team were incredible, professional and friendly and lovely to be around . The food has been complimented by so many people (fillet steak cooked perfectly for 150+ adults is quite the feat!). They also managed the food service perfectly creating an amazing vibe. All of our guests have told us what a great day they had and so much of this is down to VinA!

My wedding was at Sandon hall, where we had to have this caterer. Certainly would not be the caterer we would have had. The set menu for sandon is terrible and we weren't shown this menu beforehand. We just wanted soup, a Sunday roast and a nice dessert. They sorted this out but we wanted a tasting to make sure it was up to scratch this will cost you £250 and believe me it is seriously overpriced! Luckily our venue paid for this.We went to the first tasting at their base. It was not good. The service was great and the lady who served us is the best thing about this caterer. The meat we asked for well done as the other option was pink. We have had meat well done before at other places and it's been melt in your mouth - not this caterer. When we said this the sales person who clearly did not care what we thought as they knew we had to have them, stormed off to the kitchen and afterwards stormed back and said that's how it is. We contacted sandon and they contacted them. The second tasting was better though because sandon was looking for alternative caterer at this point.We had asked to make sure they used halal meat for some of our guests, however when they emailed alternatives they said they were having nut roasts the vegetarian option! I told them straight that they had said they would do the halal meat. I had to keep emailing for what the other options were for some of the guests like the alternative canapes of which there were none from what I saw on the day.I had asked for them to do an alternative for my nan who struggles to swallow due to an op on her throat - they did not accommodate for her needs at all!On the day the canapes were lovely, however the main meal wasn't great - most the guests left the meat and the roast potatoes were rock hard! Lucky for them they had their amazing servers every one of them I spoke to was great! The evening meal was sandwiches I didn't eat the turkey but I did have the ham and it was hard to eat! My nan had not much choice as the vegetarian was hummus and something - not something simple as I had previously asked.Would not recommend this caterer - we would never have chose them. Sadly we had no choice but to use them.
