“Everything about this place is excellent. From the warm and genuine welcome, the calming ambience, the attentive service from lovely owners, the top notch coffee and the superb selection of vegan and veggie food, all as fresh as can be and excellent portion sizes. Add to that the delicious cake (if you can fit it in) and you have an compelling reason for visiting Crewe. Imagine an ideal veggie/vegan cafe. Your image won't be far from Open Mind.”

“Great spot for brunch/breakfast. They had more than enough options available for me and my partner. Heavily recommend the pancakes and the smoothies, we were both blown away by the service, value and shop itself. 10/10”

“Traditional tea room. Breakfast served until 11.30, then lunch until 4. Not licensed, but good range of coffee, tea and soft drinks. Limited menu but all home made and ingredients locally sourced. The sandwiches, toasties, baked potato and oatcakes are good. Service is friendly and helpful. The big problem is parking. Not many spaces, cramped and no good offsite alternatives.
Parking: Above 8 spaces scattered around the site.
Kid-friendliness: Child friendly
Wheelchair accessibility: If you can park (no designated disabled space) no problem with access and disabled toilets.”

“It looks as though Costa are now allowing dogs onto their premises. I’m surprised they’ve held out for so long. It does make me smile though we’ve recently been through 3 years of a most deadly pandemic where people were keeping 2 metres away from each other and wearing masks and washing their hands every few moments and even wiping food packaging down.
And now we allow dogs in places where people are eating and drinking and there’s young children and baby’s present and the area is supposed to be hygienic.
At least here at Holmes Chapel the dogs have to remain at the far end. I’ve even heard dog lovers and owners say that they don’t agree with dogs in restaurants and cafes. Being as Sandbach let their dogs go anywhere and being as Holmes Chapel is always nice and cosy not cold like Sandbach I think we’ll be coming here from now on.
I only hope the staff thoroughly scrub their hands after stroking and petting them and letting them lick their fingers and hands as you don’t know what the dog has just been licking do you? Enjoy!”

“Saw Made in Dagenham here. Loved the show and loved the venue although they could have done with more bar staff on at the interval”
