Had a lovely meal out at Ego at The Fox on Friday evening. There were 8 of us in total and we all found it a very enjoyable night out. There was a varied menu with something to please all of us. It was cooked to perfection and the staff looking after us were all very attentive. We would all definitely go again.

I came yesterday with my sister for lunch and took advantage of the current lunch time offer. I had lemon chicken milanese and my sister had a wrap. We both thought the meals were absolutely delicious. We also both had a coffee with mini desert. Lovely also. Staff were very nice. We had a wonderful time.

The quality of the food is amazing. Freshly cooked in an open kitchen. The staff are friendly and attentive. The lunch time menu is really good value for money. Great cocktail offers. The online booking system is easy to use and can be easily amended. Well worth a visit.

We tried the kebab night and were not disappointed, straight away the service was great and continued the entire evening. Our meals were perfectly cooked and really enjoyed everything. Will definitely be making another visit soon.

Super busy but service and food were both excellent! We all said what a lovely welcoming and relaxing place it is. They’ve made brilliant use of the beautiful space they have without feeling at all like you’re on top of the next table which is unfortunately what the other local Ego feels like, along with many other restaurants! Service was friendly and prompt and we all had kebabs- it was kebab night after all . My much older parents were very sceptical, not something they would usually order but both absolutely loved their food, cleared their plates and raved about it all the way home!

Managed to book a last minute table for 2 with no problems, We enjoyed 2 courses off the festive menu, great value for money and really lovely food, the staff were very helpful, nothing was too much trouble, will definitely be returning in the new year

Recently visited for an evening meal with friends. I booked in advance via the website and that was simple plus it then sends you confirmation and reminders of the booking. All staff we came into contact with were extremely pleasant and helpful. We ordered 3 different meals and all were well presented, cooked to perfection and thoroughly enjoyed. It was busy with other diners but there was no long wait between courses and the waiting on staff did really well. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and we will definetly return and recommend to others

We recently held a wake at Ego at the Fox following my father in law's funeral. The staff were very friendly, helpful and professional from the outset. The booking process was very easy and arrangements on the day were excellent. The quality and quantity of the food was very good.
