Excellent lunch, 2 courses was a lot of delicious food, the staff attentive and knowledgable. Careful to advise on potential allergy. Service 10/10. Really made lunch special. Going again for dinner as it was, well simply fantastic. Recommend the Scotch Egg starter, what a surprise this was, the birthday girl had the Lamb, I had sea bass, both delicious.

We had a fantastic dinner and would definitely recommend it. Both the cuisine and the service were excellent! Alfie and Laurence deserve special recognition, they both provided excellent customer service and were very kind and attentive.

an absolute awful experience. We received a gift card for the Paragon Group and decided based off reviews we chose the Broughton. Bad mistake. Food came cold, ordered thick chips and got fries, steak had no taste was extremely burnt on the outside. No flavour to anything. Salt and Pepper fries did not taste like salt and pepper, like they had just been seasoned at the top few fries. Not to mention 3 drinks & 3 mains £80 + a service charge we had to tell them to take off due to lack of communication, no ask of was the food ok. Staff were not careful walking around with food, knocking my son’s coat off the back of the chair. Very very expensive for a less than average meal.

Nearly everything is cooked with garlic so if you are garlic intolerant there is not much choice and if you don’t like fish there is no choice. Very disappointing from an otherwise very good restaurant.

We went for my birthday and the service was impeccable. Our waiter Jordan was worth his weight in gold. He deserves so much credit, he completely made our night. He was attentive and polite! Please let him know how much we appreciated him. The food was out of this world as always. Thank you for a lovely evening, you made our day and we will be back again and again ❤️

Food was incredible! Portion size was perfect. The duck in particular was just delicious. We were a party of 11 and all the food came out piping hot, the children's food was presented with the starters and remained on the table through to the adult mains. We had one miniscule issue with ordering drinks and them taking 30 mins at which point we informed a member of staff who then got right on it and discounted them from the bill. Excellent!

10 of us went on boxing day the food wasnt served together my steak was grissle mayo sauce just had blob butter on it not even mixed in onion rings dripping in fat my wifes fish was dripping in oil my daughter in law asked for well done steak it came out mooing i could go on and on we didnt complain because my sons would of turned the pub over and didnt want a scene i would not recommend this place at all very dissapointed
Lovely venue awful food. So nice when you arrive and the bar and drinks are top drawer but the food is god awful. A real shame as the place should be amazing but it’s such a let down. We’ve been 4 times now and had 3 bad meals so never again. Would come for drinks only.

This by far most has been the best dining experience I’ve had in a long time. Gorgeous dining room, exquisite food, lovely atmosphere and excellent service. Lobster scotch egg and fillet wellington were outstanding! What really made it was each and every staff member were engaging, polite and professional. Massive well done to the managers and proprietor for creating a wonderful formula.

Lovely meal with friendly and efficient service. But please tell the bar staff that brandy should never be served in a whisky glass with ice cubes but in a warm brandy glass. Only a minor detail but our after dinner treat was spent fishing out ice cubes. Otherwise excellent. Jean Chinn M.B.E.
