Me and my wife popped in today after doing a circular walk that started nearby. Food was great and felt very welcome Red bull burger was really good well worth a visit.

Warm welcome from.staff on arrival, made me feel very at ease as I was on my own, ordered the lamb shank which came out fast and was pipping hot, plus delicious. Had company from the pub cat whilst the rest of the customer did a pub quiz. Very pleasant experience here. Food was lovely and staff were great. Thank you.

We were the only ones eating, the food was out of a packet. Garlic mushrooms were typical Iceland ones with a pot of mayonnaise and some limp lettuce. The fish cakes were all mash, definitely not home made, the pasta was cook chill, all stodgy, not pleasant, the fish wasn’t a battered filet, it was brown mashed up cheap thing out of the freezer, all in all very disappointing for a birthday meal. Don’t be fooled by the earlier reviews like we were.

Lovely local pub. German beer doesn't taste like German beer, but staff was friendly, location beautiful and I really enjoyed few minutes here. Toilet wasn't working well (I would say)

A great pub with a friendly atmosphere. Excellent food and exceptional value for money. Will definitely be visiting again soon. Felt very safe due to ongoing Covid restrictions.

3rd time in as many weeks, great service, huge portions. Fab village pub. Definitely worth a visit if your passing or even if a little out of your way. Will be a regular haunt for us now even when the eat out to help out finishes.
