Absolutely great service and staff.Food is great , really great menu selection.Dog friendly. Good walks very close by.Well situated beer garden and garden room.Matt the head bar man couldn't do enough for us.
We called in on the off chance and received a warm welcome. Had an excellent Sunday lunch. (One lamb and one beef) well cooked with plenty of vegetables and extra gravy. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Happy to recommend.

Lovely spot plenty of people visiting after long walks around the Forrest. Dog friendly. Outside bar and eating area. Lovely area facing the lake at the back at Hough viability is the lake is the best still a nice spot. Good was lovely great value for money lovely staff well presented food. Most definitely visit again
