If you’re the owner of Detaljer you need to know that (some of?) your staff are badly letting you down. I’ve visited twice in the last month, on both occasions the drinks were very nice, BUT the staff (in particular on Sunday 18th February), were unsmiling, unfriendly and couldn’t be bothered to make eye contact or barely speak to customers. The three staff were busy chatting at the coffee machine and customers seemed like an inconvenience to them. The other reviewer who said there seemed to be a ‘mean girl’ attitude got it spot on. The young girl who served me didn’t ask ‘what can I get you’, it was just awkward silence, so I gave her my order, and then she couldn’t even be bothered to tell me the total of our bill, she just held the card machine out and said nothing. The drinks were plonked on the table without a word. It’s a nice place, the drinks are good, but the staff have very odd attitudes to their jobs. There’s a lot of competition in Knutsford with friendly service which I’ll go to instead.

Really nice Scandinavian shop and cafe. Friendly staff. Lovely coffee and cake. Interesting shop, different to anything else in Knutsford. Top marks.Mar 24 update ... just as good as before. Banana and Pineapple cake with Cappuccino ... different and lovely. ?

This is my favourite coffee shop in the Knutsford area. The decor/shop items are super cute, the coffee is always well made, the food is fresh, and the staff are super helpful and kind.I love it as a solo date, where I can sit and read, or type on my laptop, and I always feel so welcome.It’s a great spot ✨

Great little café, everything we had was delicious and wonderful to have some Swedish favourites. Don’t want to give four stars as there is so much potential but I think some staff training would go a really long way. No one really knew anything about the cakes in the display or much about the menu. This could be an amazing opportunity to share some of the Fika culture with Knutsford and tell people about the Swedish bakes. Or just share more about incredible home baking that clearly a lot of work is going into! Training on the menu will boost staff confidence, make it more interesting for them, help them connect with customers and likely increase upselling. Hope the feedback is helpful ?

We just wanted a drink and a cake.Some interesting teas to choose from including Hibiscus and white peony.The rocky road was small but tasty.Some lovely coffees and some unusual ones like Beetroot latte.Lovely clean setting with a shop attached with pottery toys biscuits etc.
