10-12 Canute Pl, KnutsfordRather than stopping at Knutsford Services on the M6, go instead to the town and get yourself a meal at one of the many food establishments in the town.The Cranford is a welcoming cafe that does simple food well. My breakfast bap and pot of tea came quickly and tasted nice. Not much more to say!

The Botanist Bar & Restaurant Knutsford
41A King St, KnutsfordWe had a fantastic Sunday roast and overall experience at The Botanist! The building is gorgeous and the decor is stunning, particularly the bar and the beautiful lighting fixture in the center of the room. We had the sweet chilli fries, the mushroom Wellington and the roast chicken (with pork stuffing), all of which were delicious. Also, the staff couldn't have been more warm and friendly. There is also a live singer on a piano, who is brilliant and created the perfect ambience for a Sunday afternoon. Knutsford has many lovely restaurants/bars but this is surely one of the best, very highly recommend.

I had booked a table but there was not one reserved however we did get a nice table and the menu had a few things missing due to the menu just about to change but we enjoyed our meal, the ice cream was a bit cheap tasting and tasted a bit off hence the 8 instead of a 10 but for the cost it was a decent meal.Parking: Great parking

(So sorry if incorrect) served me and she was very polite and friendly. As I’m new to the area didn’t realise was under new management and it was there opening weekend met new landlord who was so lovely, very polite and well mannered and sat and had a chat with us and welcomed us to the area.There was a group of individuals who were being very rude, shouting and came off as aggressive towards staff on the door. The staff handled this situation politely and calmly and was nice to see and made me feel safe and that staff are in control of any situation that could occurWould 100% recommend this pub and can’t wait to visit again, defiantly one of the best I’ve been too. The Bells Of Peover
The Cobbles, KnutsfordWe are trying to do some country walks and had chosen a walk from the Bells in the Cheshire Countryside. We booked lunch for after our walk. Being January the walk was cold and alot of the fields were muddy but the thought f a lovely lunch at the end kept us cheerful and the Bells did not disappoint. We were running late and let them know and it was no problem. The staff are friendly and cheerful and extremely helpful. The young man on the bar was really lovely and drinks were served very quickly. All of the waiting staff in the restaurant couldn't've be more helpful or friendly. Great service. We had the artisan bread and popcorn shrimps to start. I am allergic to shellfish but my husband and son loved the shrimps. The bread and butter was outstanding and worthy of many up market tasting menus I have tasted. I had the chicken supreme which was delicious with a wonderful rich gravy and very tasty moist chicken. My Husband had the lamb which was cooked to perfection and our son had the fish and chips which was really lovely. The fries were the best I have tasted in any pub/restaurant and tased amazing they were crisp but soft inside and tasted home made not out of the freezer. We have never been before but will definitely be back and would give more than 5 stars if we could.

Plumley Moor Rd, Plumley, KnutsfordBeautiful country hotel with period style accommodation and friendly excellent service.I booked through an app and turned up at the last minute, but was received a friendly welcome, and was provided with an excellent supper in-spite of missing the set meal hours. The room was spacious with a very comfortable four poster in the period style with a pleasing selection of hot drinks provided.After a good sleep, an excellent breakfast was offered. Altogether a very enjoyable experience.

An excellent night out was had overall and the food positively added to that.

Having the bar tender shouting over the room that the tab is not settled! as we were leaving, my 79 year old mother had to go to the bar across several listening people to prove via showing the till receipt that she actually paid the bill! Then walking back passed everyone!...embarrassing to say the least!Won't put us off this place, but again, it's extremely embarrassing.

Unfortunately we all agreed that although the menu was excellent the food was in very small portions for the prices. For example a corned beef hash with very inexpensive ingredients was £17 and a starter size. Delicious, but we were left hungry afterwards. I could have quite easily eaten two portions after a walk around Tatton! Sadly the price/size means you would not come back regularly with large family as it’s too pricey. For £17 you would get a large roast dinner. Shame as I really really liked everything else about it.

13 Tatton St, KnutsfordReally lovely family meal for 6. Pizzas had lovely thin crispy base and great flavours with some great toppings available. Kids pizza was perfect size for our 8 year old. Normally fussy family member “loved” the pasta dish, which was quite the accolade. Really good bottle of Italian wine to go with it. Fantastic service and great atmosphere made for a really enjoyable evening.
