THE NEW LANDLORD OF THE OLD SESSIONS, KNUTSFORD IS THE MOST DESPICABLE, UNPLEASANT, RUDE AND ABHORRENT PERSON I HAVE EVER COME ACROSS IN THE PUB TRADE.IT WAS HIS OPENING NIGHT AND AS LOCAL PEOPLE WE WENT ALONG TO SUPPORT THE CHANGE OF MANAGEMENT IN ONE OF OUR MOST POPULAR BARS IN OUR LOVELY TOWN. THERE WAS NOT ONE REGULAR CUSTOMER, IT WAS FULL OF OUT OF TOWN, STUDENT TYPE CUSTOMERS DOING SHOTS AND SCREAMING OUT LOUD LIKE THEY HAD BEEN HIRED FOR THE NIGHT. WHEN OUR FRIENDS CAME TO JOIN US HE REFUSED ENTRY TO A LADY (WHO IS IS THE MANAGER OF ANOTHER LOCAL BAR!) BECAUSE HE SAID ONE HIS BAR STAFF HAS A GRIEVANCE WITH HER!!!! THIS MAN IS NEW TO THE TOWN, DOES NOT EVEN KNOW HIS BAR STAFF YET AND KNOWS NO LOCAL PEOPLE. APART FROM THE GROUP OF "HIRED OUT" SCREAMING STUDENTS THE BAR WAS EMPTY AND HE REFUSED ENTRY TO A LOCAL CUSTOMER, WE SAID WE WOULD ALL LEAVE IF SHE COULDN'T JOIN US AND HE SAID THAT'S FINE!!! WHEN I TRIED TO REASON WITH HIM HE SAID IT WAS NONE OF MY BUSINESS!!! SO THE 10 OF US LEFT.HOW SAD THAT A RUDE, DESPICABLE MAN FROM LIVERPOOL WITH ABSOLOUTLY NO MANNERS, CHARISMA OR ANY UNDERSTANDING OF SOCIAL AWARENESS AND ABSOLUTELY NO INTELLIGENCE, HAS NOW BEEN ENSCONCED IN OUR MOST CENTRAL BAR. JUST WAIT AND WATCH THIS BUSINESS FAIL....WHY DO PEOPLE LIKE HIM HAVE TO EXIST, THEY JUST RUIN SOCIETY.

Visited on Saturday, what an absolute little gem of a pub. Staff very attentive and welcoming, lovely atmosphere with great food. As I’m new to the area didn’t realise was under new management and it was there opening weekend met new landlord who was so lovely, very polite and well mannered and sat and had a chat with us and welcomed us to the area.There was a group of individuals who were being very rude, shouting and came off as aggressive towards staff on the door. The staff handled this situation politely and calmly and was nice to see and made me feel safe and that staff are in control of any situation that could occurWould 100% recommend this pub and can’t wait to visit again, defiantly one of the best I’ve been too. If you haven’t visited you must try

Came for a late lunch at the weekend. Lovely first appearances, however rather pricey for the food we ordered and received. If you want the Korean Chicken Burger, I would recommend ordering the Buttermilk Chicken Burger for £9 and simply asking for a side of BBQ sauce as to save you £6. The Signature Salad looked promising, stating to contain quinoa, broccoli, peas, slow-roasted tomatoes, spinach, and sugar snap peas. We opted to add Grilled Chicken Breast which was lovely, however, we received a mere side salad, being served only lettuce, red onion, (un-roasted) cherry tomatoes, and cucumber. We queried with the staff r.e the difference in the Buttermilk and the Korean Burger to no avail, despite the member of staff ensuring us he would speak to the chef. Upon leaving, we thanked the member of staff and said goodbye as we would in any establishment; this was ignored. It is unfortunate that we will not be returning.
