Another excellent meal at one of our favourite local restaurants. This time with visiting Danish guests who loved the whole experience too.
Excellent food and a vibrant atmosphere
We came in for our end of season meal with Knutsford Netball Club. Food was delicious and great service - thank you!
Always lovely to visit Gianluca and the team!
Best service & food :)
Florin and Lily ensured we had a lovely meal!
Great meal, warm atmosphere, lovely setting and ambience.
Food very expensive for what you get.
Food is always Excellent!
Great atmosphere
Professional staff
A little expensive but nice atmosphere
Came here for dinner with my husband and two children whilst staying in knutsford for his work. The minute we walked in the staff were looking at the kids like they didn’t want us there. We were seated and I asked for somewhere to put our pram. I was told to keep it there at our table (in the way)
We proceeded to order and tell the staff about our three year olds allergies to which we were told any allergy orders take a long time to make. We ordered his food straight away hoping it will come when ours comes to eat together. His food came after 5 minutes which was great but we sat for 45 minutes waiting for our food. The staff avoided eye contact. Didn’t update us on anything and acted offended when we asked anything.
I asked for a a dish on the menu but have the meat changed for prawns for religious reasons and the waiter rolled his eyes and said don’t complain when it doesn’t taste nice.
Honestly felt like I was in someone’s house without an invite.
Very rude and inhospitable. Kept hearing them complain to each other about allergies and everyone with allergies causing delays.
Concerning to be honest.
Dietary restrictions: Staff angry about allergies
Kid-friendliness: Not friendly at all to families and children. Our pram angered them.
Fabulous place. I remember coming here over 25 years ago. I think it was the first Piccolino's. We came for lunch on a cool but sunny day. We decided to eat on their terraced area as there were nice heaters. Starters, we both had King Prawn Bruschetta, size and flavours excellent with nice light bread. Mains, we both had the fish kebabs, plenty of fish perfectly cooked. Service was fast, friendly, and efficient. Bill was good value as we had two courses for £20. Finally, probably one of the best playlists at the right volume!

Beautiful food. Best steak I'd tasted in while. Great service too
Two elderly ladies went for lunch today, eventually we were asked to order, the pizza was tough , very difficult to cut with almost no filling, I had two anchovies on mine, when I was asked about the food I said it was very underwhelming. We were told that they make the best pizza and if we wanted to have a pizza sliced we should go to Pizza Hut. After waiting ages for the bill we again had to ask a passing waitress, I have never felt so invisible in my life.
We usually like to come to this place, but on our last visit the staff seemed a little bit unprofessional which made us feel uncomfortable.
Excellent food and customer service! The food, wine and attention to detail is all top notch! You’d expect the pasta and pizzas to be superb, given it’s Italian cuisine, and it absolutely is. But what may be a surprise, is the steak. They are probably one of the best this side of town. Shout out to the team for looking after us, especially Florin and the chefs. Thank you!
This place came with a high expectations recommendation and it didn’t deliver - it over delivered - the staff were attentive yet understated, friendly and yet not over familiar. Absolutely lovely - we will return and your missing out if you haven’t been ?
