Food and service was amazing. Most impressed as was part of a Christmas party and we were well catered for. Highly recommended.

I and my friend are both black and had dinner there yesterday. All I wanted was to catch up with each other after not seeing them for years. They decided we’d have dinner at her favourite restaurant. However, I was not prepared for the mistreatment we were both going to face there. All the staff including The waiter acted As if they did not want us there (there were no other people of colour in the restaurant). We thought maybe it’s because we had been sitting there for a while, but other people had been in the restaurant for much longer than us and they did not receive this type behaviour!Knowing the prejudice surrounding black people in very white areas-such as knutsford we tried extremely hard to be extra nice to the staff. To avoid any stares. Apparently that was not enough. we both left piccolinos feeling watched, uncomfortable and un-welcomed.We both live in knutsford and it’s sad we still can’t eat in our hometown without receiving stares and discriminatory behaviour. If you are black/POC I’d say save your money and eat somewhere else!

lovely food and helpful staff. only comment would be that it seemed that the people around us who arrived later than us, managed to get their food a lot quicker than ours. other than that it was an enjoyable

Not often I find I can’t fault anything. We had the set menu for £49… every course was perfect. Service attentive but not intrusive. The ribs for starters amazing. You have to have the apricot bread and butter dessert.. amazing. Both the steak and sea bass lovely. Great value.

Just had our 17th Wedding anniversary meal in Piccolino Knutsford, food was ok but very disappointed, the dishes have changed i.e. removed ingredients and for example the Carbonara used to come with a poached egg on top along with a rasher of crispy bacon. This has now gone. Prices shockingly increased and delighters removed so I am afraid so is our custom. Sorry Piccolino but our relationship is no more.

Birthday meal with my wife, we have been before with the grandkids, and again what a wonderful experience. The staff are a credit to the restaurant, always smiling and happy to engage in conversation with you. Very helpful and informative regarding the menu. The atmosphere is always relaxed and friendly, no rush to get you out. The food is not over complicated, delicious and great value for money.

On arrival my brother told the manager that it was very cold in the restaurant. The managers response - if you pay more for your food he would turn the heating up. Unbelievable. Roast beef so full of gristle I couldn’t eat it, my husband had carbonara and said it was the worst he’d ever had, very salty.

It was my 71st birthday and family took us as a treat. Food was lovely and we were looked after as soon as we arrived. I was also treated to a rendition of Happy Birthday with a lovely sweet treat. Thank you everyone.

Nice little restaurant with some really good Italian food choices and good service. A little bit pricey if perfectly honest, but worth a try.

Amazing food! Ox cheek, filet, truffle pasta, and carbonara were great. Mocktails were excellent as well.
