Absolutely gorgeous breakfast, value for money and extremely tasty. I would recommend this establishment to everybody. Take a visit and I promise you, you will not be disappointed.

Lovely little hidden gem in the middle of Knutsford. The coffee and food were clearly fresh and made with quality local ingredients. The staff were also very friendly and went out of their way to ensure my partner and I were happy and catered for, would highly recommend going. We will defiantly be back!Vegetarian options: Vegetation options are available and the servers are happy to adapt a dish to meet your needs. I felt very well catered for!

Visited for lunch and really glad we did! Booking advised as it's a popular spot for good reason. Such a beautiful quaint place with delicious quality food and good coffee. The staff were friendly and attentive too. It's a lovely place to visit and the cakes were particularly

Soup was supposed to be potato and leek but it was very dark green watery tasted nothing like leek & potato! No flavour at all. Chips lovely, sandwich average not much flavour to our crayfish sandwich just salty, staff that served us friendly. Spent £35 on two coffees two soup and sandwich deals.

Great cafe stop while out on a bike

It used to be a very original and interesting place with the old fashioned bikes but became just ordinary now. I do not like the colourful, with no specific style Christmas ornaments there. Coffee and cake were good but I am not planning to go again. It feels now like the place is for old people.

Came here en-route to a spa weekend for my birthday and what a great decision it was! Considering the wet December weather outside, the warm welcome we received inside was just perfect. We enjoyed the sirloin ciabatta and I couldn't resist the welsh rarebit - both amazing decisions washed down with a cheeky glass of prosecco. Perfect start to a perfect weekend, perfect service, perfect produce - I guess you could say it was perfect! Thanks again to The Courtyard, we will be back.

On our most recent visit we were disappointed to find all the penny farthing bikes had gone, and also the road signs in the courtyard. Amongst these was a sign that used to stand at Arclid crossroads, which is on my route to work, so every time I pass that area I was reminded of this café. Now it's gone, I'm reminded of a cafe that no longer exists. We had coffee, tea and croissants, which were still very nice and service was warm and friendly. Unfortunately, they now only take cashless payments, which I do not agree with. Keep cash alive! On the whole, it's no longer a place that stands out above other eateries, and we'll probably choose somewhere else on our next visit to Knutsford.

It's a really lovely place. The lady that owns this and her daughter who is helping out on school holidays are both so friendly and smiley. The cakes were lovely, as were the coffees. Really lovely atmosphere and the train going around the ceiling is a great touch. We will be back again and recommend it

Been several times. Staff amazingly helpful and accommodating. Today I had soup and a sandwich. Piping hot. Great flavours. Recommend.

I only had a cup of tea and a bowl of soup, but the soup was lovely. The selection of cakes was very tempting, and the sandwiches that were being carried out to other tables made me wish I was hungrier. The staff were great and I was really impressed with how they managed a surprisingly busy tea room - between reservations and walk-ins and a surprise table of 10, it can only be described as human Tetris, but they fitted everybody in and kept the food and drinks coming without missing a beat.

Fern, Althea and the team at the Knutsford Courtyard Coffeehouse are fantastic. We decide to have my dad’s funeral reception in the conservatory. The food, sandwiches and cakes are excellent and the staff, are friendly and welcoming especially at such a difficult time for me and my extended family. Highly recommend.

The atmosphere is lovely, the staff is so friendly and accommodating, and the food is DELICIOUS, especially the smoked haddock. They also have a gluten free and vegan menu, so anyone can find something to treat themselves with. I highly recommend and will gladly come back to try all the other dishes!
