What a beautiful pub with friendly and hospitable staff. The landlady is wonderful, an ambassador for Knutsford. We sat by a roaring fire and were made to feel incredibly welcome. Don't leave Knutsford without a visit!

One of few proper "old school" traditional pubs. Great beer with a good atmosphere, pleasant service. An ideal place to take a foreign visitor the unique British pub experience as I have done several times. Dog friendly.

It's great to come across a proper Pub where the landlord and staff are so welcoming. We and the dog shall return at every opportunity. I just hope they don't get fed up with seeing us.

We took the kids to play pool. This was a godsend as there were no other pubs in Knutsford with a pool table....Good drinks.Did not serve food. Friendly service.
