Rang up and spoke to a lady who told me that they were changing the menu but we could still eat here just we wouldn’t be able to have a particular dish that we might normally go for with having limited selection. We said it’s fine as we’re not fussy. When we got there we were told the kitchen was closed. All they could offer us was discounted drinks… as good as that is it’s not our fault you closed the kitchen failed to let us know. Plus we were starving. I even sent an email about booking a table for food. Safe to say I won’t book again if I can’t grantee a meal. Not one to complain but it just saddened me when I love coming to knutsford and was excited to try here after hearing such good things about it. Shame really.

Always a great vibe! The staff are friendly and helpful. DJs provide a stellar sonic backdrop on Fridays.

Went to the Freaky Disco night. Great music selections, disco edits , nu-disco and such like , those guys know their stuff. Bar service was quick and friendly. A lovely little place.

Fab service from the team at W&W Knutsford this Saturday. We used the “pink room” as a private party space and everything we asked for was done to perfection. Staff were friendly and helpful and the food was fresh and tasty. Everyone had a brilliant time - thank you!

Busy, cold and Christmas-y day for n Knutsford. Went into Wine &Wallop for a drink. After a few mins queuing at the bar, we were asked to find a table and take seat, and table service would be provided. Another couple were told the same. They gave up before we did. We gave c 5 mins, but no sign of service. The other couple left, and their table taken by 2 ladies. One went to the bar and was served straight away, (a local?), but we were still waiting. So we walked out. Do you care?

13/10/23: shocking service, ordered 5 beers and 3 x double espresso coffees. Coffees had to be requested twice as server forgot to make them. Waited another 20 minutes and went to speak to bar staff again, 2 of which were dancing on the floor. Reminded them about the drinks. Shortly arrived 3 Americanos (not double espresso) and an apology that a party of 6 had placed a large order. Still enjoyed the drinks, still liked the layout and little drinking rooms and outside area. Would possible return at a later date for a second chance.

Amazing service and atmosphere! Great selection of drinks and the daytime / evening vibes are nice! Inside and outside areas are really cozy a great place to meet ❤️

What an awful place this is. The food is very expensive, poor quality and the staff are incompetent at doing their jobs. I would never go here again and if you want a good night out, then neither will you.

We had a late lunch here recently. Lots of positives: - good value for food - small plates were large; all dishes were tasty; - decent wines by the glass; - service was down to earth - no frills but no issues either; - dog friendly. We usually go for more stylish places to eat, but this place hit the spot on this particular occasion. It's rather trendy and 'wallop' means 'alcoholic drink, especially beer'.

On a date night decided to go wine and and wallop, which turned out to be great experience as the food was tasty and beautifully cooked. The service was top class and Sam was excellent looking after us.

Absolutely normally love the wine and wallop and recommend it, however today service was rubbishI ordered a chicken burger at £12 and followed up with does it come with anything g with passing waitress she said no so ordered some triple cooked chipsWhen it arrived I got my burger only and the f (half the burger bun was almost empty) then followed with skinny fries to which I advised I ordered triple cooked chips (that had too much seasoning on)I had to ask for cutlery and remind staff for Mayo. When asking for the bill we waited 15 mins and then decided to go downstairs to pay which our server and 3 others were behind the bar talking - no apology etcHave a look at my lonely burger whilst I waited a further 5-10 minutes for my chips.Won’t be eating here again!

Yet again Wine and Wallop did not disappoint. The Surf and Turf shared platter for two was excellent and well worth the short wait. Scallops, prawns, steak and a variety of other meat dishes were tasty and appealing. The garlic and lime(?) mayo was incredible and all served with oodles of focaccia and pitta bread.Love the staff in here - their banter is excellent
