Went for a birthday lunch yesterday, I reserved a table in the doggy area for 5 of us. The food and service were excellent, I will be going again and would recommend it to anyone.

We came to take advantage of the January lunch offers and were impressed with all the menu choices. As ever, the food was hot and tasty and we all enjoyed our meal. The staff are always friendly and helpful, the pub is warm and welcoming, perfect for January.

We have enjoyed our many visits to Ego at Lymm, but sadly lunch today was disappointing. No smile when we arrived, didn’t even look at us. We ordered fish and chips. The food was fine but the plates were cold! The desserts were OK. We were not asked if we would like coffee. No one bothered to bring the bill, so we went to the till. I waited till the two people finished their chat before paying the bill. Where were the friendly lovely staff we had always seen at Ego? The waitresses did not seem to have been trained in how to serve or treat customers. The restaurant was not over warm and the lovely fire was not lit.

The food was spot on..went on the steak hight..it was really nice..next for me will be the kebab night..although we go around 4pm..which is a good time for me and my husband..it was very relaxing and the staff are lovely and very welcoming..well done to the chef's who really know how to serve a lovely meal..definitely recommend to everyone..

We love Ego’s for the quality of the food, friendly staff and cosy environment. We love it even more when we manage to book for the half price steak night!! The steak was cooked to perfection and the service was top notch and attentive. Never disappointed at Ego’s and will definitely be back soon

Arrived ahead of time but got a table. Drinks served immediately and orders taken. Steaks arrived 15 mins later and were perfect. 10 minutes after finishing our steaks we had our mini dessert and coffee. Server was excellent.
Great food and the lunch menu was very reasonable. We had fish and chips and steak pie followed by lemon tart and frangipane tart all of which were excellent.

Love The Green Dragon. I took my husbsnd, elderly dad and uncle for lunch and it was all very good. We started with mushrooms, pitta and hummus, calamari and pork belly - all delicious! Our mains consisted of haddock and chips, salmon fish cakes, steak pie and mash and seafood linguine. All piping hot and so tasty! We forced a pudding down followed by lovely latte, tea and a beer. Couldn't complain about a thing. Perfect! The atmosphere was cosy, warm and very comfortable, we all enjoyed our experience. Thankyou to the lovely waiting on staff who were friendly and bubbly. Looking forward to the next visit!

Went for the special kebab offer, food was very enjoyable. The staff was very attentive. Have been the previous 2 years when the offer was on but this was the best. How visited other times outside of the offers and food is consistently good.
